the staff working at the hotel is quite gentle, and try to help the guests as much as they can. Only a few number of staff people can speak english, and it is desirable to have some knowledge in the french language. But the location of the hotel is its major point. The facilities are old and cleanliness could be improved.

Room Tip: I suggest to stay in the rooms located in the back of the hotel building.

At first let me tell the last word: "yes! I will go there again.":)
.
I and my wife were there for 13 days in July 2013 and it was very good. Lots of good things and some small negative points.
It is a 2 star hotel (it is not 3 star). A tiny clean room in a good condition with bathroom is what you will get. It doesn't have frig and safe-box in the room. (both are available by receptionist) and a good WiFi internet connection is available too. Despite there is no cooler or air conditioner in the room, opening the window in the hottest nights of Paris in July is enough for a dreamy sleep. (also you can borrow a blower from the receptionist too)
Beside these, the location is excellent too. In the middle of a street full of bars and restaurants and near a metro station with good connections and also near bus stop for Orly airport.
As I asked lots of the nearby hotels, the rates were very good too, comparing with them.
And the best part was the hotel staff. 3 kind sisters manage the hotel and will help you in any condition.
In the end, you are not going to a luxurious hotel. But based on what you pay, you'll get a safe room, a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom and for me it was all I was expecting in my touristy trip to Paris.

The staff is really helpful, although their English isn't super good you can undertand them. It is localed close to bars, restaurants and the subway is close too. The showers are super small and there is no a/c but you can get some fresh air by opening the window.

my partner and i stayed there in the beginning of august. we had some good and bad experiences about this hotel.
first of all this hotel is NOT 3 star only 2 so it is misleading on this page.

bad experiences:
dirty
if you have a room that looks on the street you wont sleep at night, because it is quite loud during the night
we were told that we can use the garden to sit out there, but when we were outside drinking a beer we got the evil eye from some of the restaurant workers.
when we asked to print our plane tickets the receptionist told us that the boss was not there and he doesnt know how to work the computer so we had to run around on our last day to find a place to print wasting our time...
on the first day of our stay we returned from a walk and there was a new person at the reception and we told him our room number and gave the key without any question. that really made us wonder about the security of our belongings...
no safe-box during night or when the boss was not there.....
one of the windows were not able to close
good things:

one of the receptionist was very nice and helpful
great location couple of minutes from anything (metro, rer, store, bakery, pharmacy)

Only about 30 meters from where filmmaker Agnès Varda lived on this village-like street in the Montparnasse district of south Paris, this hotel is ideally situated for an excellent stay in the city. Less than five minutes on foot from the Metro, RER or SNCF Gare Montparnasse, there are also many superb restaurant choices in the area (lots of sushi, Antilles island fare, traditional bistro, pizzeria, etc.). The rooms themselves do show their age and the showers especially could use updating; still, if you're staying here you won't be spending much time behind closed doors. The beds are comfortable, even if the frills are few - still, location trumps everything!
