My wife and I have been to Paris several times over the years and each time we have stayed in a hotel. This was our first trip to Paris with the kids and first time booking this style of accommodation. Everything about our stay was fantastic. The apartment is spacious and having two rooms, one for us and one for the kids, is so much better than all of has been crammed into a single room like with most hotel family rooms. The apartment was clean and tidy, with plenty of space so we were not on top of each other. A selection of teas were provided as was a filter coffee machine and bottles of water.
By far the best part of the apartment are its owners. Emmanuel welcomed us on arrival, providing us with drinks and advice. Each morning he prepared a veritable feast at a time that suited us. So much better than the breakfasts you find at hotels. The hot chocolate was a crowd pleaser! Even before our visit Emmanuel provided a wealth of information to help us transfer to the apartment in a timely and cost-effective manner. He offered to book excursions online for us to save time and money and provided advice on how not to get ripped off. A most gracious host who even let us checkout late allowing us to explore Paris one last time whilst our luggage was safe back in the apartment.
The apartment is well positioned for the public transport system. It is only a short walk away from the Metro allowing Paris to be fully explored and it is very handy to get to CDG airport or Gare Du Nord Station. There are several bakeries nearby as well as shop selling fruit and veg plus a Lidl supermarket to stock up on little bits and pieces whilst you are there.
I can’t recommend Emmanuel and his apartment enough. We will be back in Paris no doubt and we will not hesitate to book this apartment again.
Thank you Emmanuel for making our stay special.
This was a great place for our short visit to France after a long European holiday. We utilised both rooms as we are a family of 4. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Much appreciated the bottled water every day and selection of teas. Most of all we LOVED the French continental breakfast served by our host, Emmanuel every morning. Exquisite and fresh pastries (he even got me my favourite pain au raisin) together with condiments, fresh bread and yogurt. The children swooned at the rich homemade hot chocolate - even made with soy milk. A much appreciated touch every morning!
Close to Porte de L'orleans metro it was only about 30 minutes to the main attractions near the Seine.
Emmanuel had lots of advice for us and how to save money (especially by not buying the Paris Pass which he said was a rort). We found buying cachets of tickets seemed to be ok - though I have yet to work out the metro system - changing platforms within the same station meant using another ticket for instance. But all in all, a fabulous trip and we would recommend this lovely top floor apartment any day! Thanks (Merci) :)
Emmanuel & Beatrice we’re the perfect hosts. Courteous, respectful, informative, professional & generous. Great apartment, great breakfast, great location & genuine, local service. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
Excellent bed and breakfast. Emmanuel and Beatrice were excellent host. The rooms were always clean. They served wonderful, fresh, warm croissants and French bread every morning. They also served milk, coffee, orange juice, hot tea and hot chocolate every morning. They were prompt and served breakfast early or late depending on our daily activities.
Emmanuel was also very helpful in arranging for us day tours and printed information everyday for us on activities to do in Paris. He also helped us in getting the beast deals for our metro tickets.
We felt right at home.
He was very kind in writing a letter for ParisCitVision on my behalf.
We will definitely rent from Emmanuel and Beatrice again.
We highly recommend their apartment.
We enjoyed our stay. Our rom was clean and very well equipped. Emmanuel was a wonderful host and very helpful. Emmanuel povided a delicious breakfast every morning. The hot chocolate was divine !
Emmanuel was a delightful host and exceptionally helpful and generous with his time and advice. The rooms were very comfortable and we have no hesitation in highly recommending this place. We would certainly stay there again.
First of all this is what you need to know about this location.
1. You will have 2 bedrooms; no living room; bathroom is located in the hall of the 7th floor across from the owner.
2. The view of the Eiffel Tower can only be seen from one of the windows in the bedroom.
3. Trying to speak French goes a long way with the locals.
4. The train system is easy; buy the 5 day 5 zone if going outside city online; easy to get to everything.
5. Local places to eat around this location. La Truffel Noirte is where we got treats daily 1 block away; also where the locals get their breads.
6. Best Restaurants located near city.
7. Check out five star transportation for airport transport.
When you rent this place it is not the rooms that you have value. It is the location where the French live and Emmanuel. He helps with planning/information/making reservations/cleaning/answers questions daily/etc. He made a dinner reservation for my child's birthday while there.
