Very clean room, tea and coffee supplied, which was a great relief for us trying to see this and that and return to the hotel and we could make a tea or coffee. Close to many venue. The price was right for us as we budgetted our way around Paris and then Italy. Definitely a tres bon boutique hotel. Two older Australians who very much appreciated the comfort and help.

My partner and I stayed here a few weeks ago and we both continue to remark how nice this hotel was. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to meet our needs. We were surprised to have received an upgrade and we were given the most amazing room with a balcony overlooking St. Augustin church and the Eiffel Tower. We loved enjoying our morning coffee on that balcony. It is conveniently located next to Gare Saint Lazare which has 4 metro lines and it is also only a 15 minute walk to either Arc de Triomphe or the Concorde. The hotel was kept superbly clean and we felt very privileged to stay there. Breakfast is typical European continental breakfast fare with pastries, meats, cheeses, fruit, etc. It was one of the few European hotel breakfasts I've had that left me feeling quite full until late afternoon. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and would stay again here in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: If you can get the suite, it has the balcony!

Strongly recommend this hotel right by the Gare St Lazare metro and train station and only 5 minutes walk from the Galleries Layfette and Printemps department stores. There are lots of restaurants and cafes close by. The hotel staff are great and we really enjoyed the breakfast each morning. The hotel rooms are a bit small, although in saying that the bed is comfy, everthing is spotlessly clean, there is a small fridge for the minibar, the Damar toiletries are a v nice touch and it's nice that there are only 30 rooms so it's a quiet haven from the bustle of Paris. We would like to stay here again.

After reading many hotel reviews we booked two rooms at the Wilson Opera for our June vacation. We were looking for location and value. We found the hotel very well located closed to St. Lazare station, restaurants and stores. The rooms were small but comfortable and the bathrooms were also new and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions for dining and securing a larger taxi to the airport for our family of four. I would definately recommend Wilson Opera for a stay in Paris. Comparing more expensive options I rather spend the difference enjoying the city.

Room Tip: The deluxe room offered a tub. Book early.

Bonjour,

Thank you so much about that very nice review on Trip Advisor! We really appreciate it!

The comfort in the hotel is so crucial for us; we want all our clients to feel like at home.
We do all we can to make sure that our standards are encountered.

The location of the hotel is perfect indeed. The train and metro station are just next door.

If you have any recommendations for us to improve anything in the hotel, I would be more than happy to hear it from you.

The entire team and I want to thank you again for that lovely comment and we hope that we will see you again really soon.

We arrived here after 30 hours of transit time (thanks Qantas!) and were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Sure, the rooms are a little small, but thats to be expected in Paris. Great location close to Haussman Boulevard, all big shopping stores are here. Staff were friendly and helpful, and let us store our luggage when we did an overnighter to Reims and Epernay, along with Normandy. We received an upgrade on our room, which was great, so thanks. Will definitely stay here again!!

Room Tip: Ask for any of the balcony rooms

Bonjour,

Thank you so much for this delightful comment from you!

We are very happy that you enjoy your stay with us.

You are right about the location of the hotel, it is in center of Paris and all the good shops and restaurants are near by! The metro station Saint Lazare is only 4 minutes walk.

The hotel is well maintened indeed, and we check every day to make sure that every detail is taking care of such as the rooms, the lobby (fresh flowers every week), the breakfast room ( quality and organic products), etc.

One more time, thank you again for this 5* comment! it keeps us even more motivated than before!

The entire team of the Hotel WO wishes you a lovely Christamas and Happy New Year 2014!

We hope to welcome you again anytime soon!

All the best,

Sebastien

Hotel WO provided a great stay for us while in Paris. It's close to Saint Lazarre metro/train station which proved to be very convenient when we arrived at Paris Nord from London and when we caught the Artesia night train from Paris Bercy to VSL. We caught an evening train to Venice and they front desk person was more than happy to hold our bags for us after checkout so we could enjoy our last day in Paris without having to worry about where to store our bags.

Our room was small, but clean (most important!) and comfortable. The location really was prime for us. Very near to the hotel are a post office for mailing postcards, a little cafe, pharmacy, and a great boulangerie that we visited everyday for our morning croissant/pastries and espresso; although, the hotel does provide a breakfast for an additional cost. As far as restaurants in the area that are open late – it’s slim pickings. We often found ourselves ready for dinner after 10pm and only bars were open so not the best area for evening dining since the metro stops running at around midnight and you feet are too weary to trek back to the hotel.

There's also shopping nearby with Galleries Lafayette and another little mall with H&M, Sephora, and a few other stores. Place de la Madeleine is also nearby and don't forget to stop at Fauchon and Hediard for a few gourmet souvenirs.

Overall, I was very pleased with my stay and would definitely stay here again. I can't wait to plan my next trip to Paris and stay at Hotel WO again.

A few things you must do/see when in Paris:
- Notre Dame, climb the bell tower for beautiful views of the city. I actually preferred Notre Dame over the Vatican’s Sistine Chapel – much more intimate and a little less touristy
- Seine evening river cruise. We randomly picked Vedettes du Pont Neuf since we happened to cross Pont Neuf and see their sign - we were not disappointed. The cruise has live narration in French and English, though her English was sometimes hard to understand...didn't really care though because I was paying more attention to the beautiful sites. I DO wish that they timed their tours so you pass the Eiffel Tower when it sparkles, but we actually caught views of that from Pont Neuf after the cruise on our way to the metro stop. Look for coupons or buy tickets online for the best discount.
- Download Rick Steves' free audioguides for the Paris City Walk and the Louvre (he has other tours for Paris too) - they're actually quite good and you can't beat FREE
- Stop by the Trocadero for incredible views of the Eiffel as the sun sets. We got the most amazing pictures of the Eiffel here - the sky looked like a beautiful painting. Just be sure to ignore the irritating gypsies and peddlers
- DO book your Eiffel tickets online and don't be bummed if you are only able to secure tickets to the second level. I was somewhat upset that only second level tickets at 10pm were available online, but I booked them anyway. When we finally did our ascent to the second level, there was a ticket booth with only 3 people in line where you could quickly purchase a supplement to the top and hop in line for the ascent to the top! Very pleased that things worked out and we were able to get to the top.
