Angelina's has the biggest, most buttery croissants at the best price you'll ever find. Don't wait too long in the day--they'll be gone. People stop by the bakery on their way in and out of the restaurant for "take-away." I also had an excellent, strawberry/raspberry tarte. You can't beat the French for pastries!

This place did not disappoint. The hot chocolate was rich and velvety, the tea fragrant and refreshing, and the pastries absolutely scrumptious. All topped off with friendly and professional service. Well worth the price.

Read about this place and decided to visit, it certainly is a must for visitors to Paris at least for the first time, then again the chocalat African cake as a take away was pure indulgence and you need to have a long walk ahead to work off the calories
Would I return probably not, would I recommend that people go at least once when in Paris, yes it is a Paris institution and worth a visit

Went here on Bastille Day for breakfast. Maybe because it was a holiday, but it was quiet and very peaceful. You can choose a traditional breakfast with breads and pastries, and you can also add eggs. I have to say, though, that the hot chocolate is what sealed the deal. It was like melted chocolate in a cup! You have to try it. In addition, the atmosphere was very nice and the service was great. The staff even helped us figure out where to go to see the parade. Very nice.

We initially just wanted to grab some of their famous hot chocolate and some sweet treats when we learned they served lunch, so we gave it a gamble. The food was very good; we recommend shelling out for the full-on dishes rather than the omelet and sandwich snack menu. The truffle ravioli in Parmesan sauce is fantastic! But of course, the main attraction is the desserts: definitely do a hot chocolate anytime of year. For dessert we chose Chocolat Africain and the chocolate was to die for. The only negative seems to be the service; our server was a bit impatient, though with the volume of tourists we saw the correlation.
