“Finally a good breakfast!”
Reviewed 21 July 2014 via mobile

It's our last fay in Paris. So far we ate in french places or just bought stuff in a supermarket and ate it while sitting on a bench.
We were looking for a place with tasty breakfast and bigger portions than you get on franch breakfast places. We found it!
I atea veggie omelett with bagel it was huge and tasty with lots of vegetables!!! I drank a strawberry milkshake witch was reaaly good.
My boyfriend ate a burger with was not the best he ever tasted but ok (witch is quite a good ting in Paris, after our experiences)
I'm really happy, and satisfied. I'm sitting at the place right now. Otherwise the service is avarege french service witch is in my oppinion isn't good. Not the tidiest place ever but i ate good and I can recommend this place!

“It's not America! But it's fun”
Reviewed 18 July 2014

This is Paris after all! So why should you expect New York? It's a diner, so it's not enormous, doesn't have posh tablecloths and isn't silver service. But it does a great breakfast, fills you up for a long day ahead and it's reasonably priced. The team are all friendly and seem to eat there too, which is always a good thing to see. Excellent pancakes but 3 is quite a lot for non-Americans - so you might want to share or go for sausages and a pancake as separate side orders, which kept my teenager very happy. We arrived about 9am and didn't have to wait for a table. Also impressed by the toaster on each table so you can get your toast just right.

“Great breakfast”
Reviewed 8 July 2014 via mobile

Breakfast was delicious. Prices fair too compared to other places in Paris. Bacon was very good. Eggs delicious. The lines can get long so try to get there at the early part of dining hour.

“Neither American nor French food”
Reviewed 6 July 2014 via mobile

BIA is small and cramped. You get to know your neighbours well on a x2 table! Food is served on a sub-American portion size but an above average European size (think shoes). The place is good if you're tired of croissants and croque Monsieur. So it does provide a taste of Americana. But it's not anywhere near as good as a New York diner. The waitresses were pleasant and worked hard because the place was packed. We were glad to have tried it but won't go again. It's a shame. They need to get their act together just a bit more.

“Glad to have a break”
Reviewed 25 June 2014

Not only were we able to eat a good meal, after 2 weeks we weren't crazy about the limited selections & high cost of eating out, but the English-speaking waiters were very helpful when we had a question about the train strike. The one who waited on us even went downstairs to the computer to get us the name of a shuttle service. The person we rented our apt from didn't even do that. So, basically good food & nice people...what could be better?
