On a Sunday in Paris it might be difficult to find any place to shop and/or eat (French law forces most businesses to close). I went looking for a place to dine with a couple business colleagues in the Place Vendome area. After striking out on several of the places that we have previously ate at and liked, we stumbled upon Da Rosa. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food was mostly tapas style and was very good. Portions were adequate to order several plates and share amongst friends. The only real criticism is the diversity of options in the food department (mostly cuts of ham and salad with a couple fish options). However, everything that I had was very good. The wine menu is extremely limited, but the pricing is excellent and the quality of what we got was very good. Overall, this is a solid choice.

The 1st day of April brought weather that was perfect for dining outside. The gazpacho was unique and done well with a lovely tang. The club was filed with the smoked beef that they slice by hand prior to serving you. Accompanied by a salad, the entire meal was a bargain .

On a fine spring day we sat outside, had some drinks, then shared a few plates of tapas. As every reviewer says, the 36-month-old ham is wonderful: soft and sweet but with a gamey depth of flavour. Service is good. Prices are on the expensive side. But this place feels quite special - and makes a welcome change from the usual Parisian bistro routine.

We loved the jambon du serrano and salad nicoise....but the risotto killed it! Perfect cafe...in Paris for 4 days - stopped in twice!

A great place for lunch with beautiful, comfortable velvet chairs. The risotto is the best in Paris. We ordered the saumon risotto and the vegetable risotto and they were both creamy and perfectly cooked and the portions were generous. The service was excellent, helpful, and very willing to translate the menu into english. We also had sangria with rose, raspberry, and lychee juice that was great! We had a lemon tart for dessert that was also excellent. I will definitely be returning here! The atmosphere was very serene, comfortable and welcoming which make our meal relaxing and special while not being killer expensive. Great spot for a Sunday lunch when many other things are closed.
