“Food Fantastic, but...”
Reviewed 2 August 2014 via mobile

We visited for dinner on Sunday evening having stumbled upon Da Rosa. The food was truly fantastic - tapas/Spanish style - and reasonably priced (193 EUR for four) but the service was appalling. Our main course was completely forgotten by the waitress and whilst she was apologetic, a trace of sincerity and a smile would have gone a long way to appease matters. The overall impression therefore is disappointment.

“Fresh and delicious produce!”
Reviewed 9 July 2014 via mobile

Starting with the jambon or ham from three different countries that they cut as you order. As well as their salads and pasta, everything was really fresh. This place is more if you want to play it safe but still get a good quality meal. We got the tomato and mozzarella salad and 2 different hams, as well as some olives and fresh bread that comes with your meal. Delish!!

“The service was horrible for food that wasn't that good.”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

The waitress took 1 hour to bring the food, it was OK and it was cold. The prices were crazy high for what the food was.

“Delicious Ham!”
Reviewed 19 June 2014

Just off Blvd St Germain in the Rue de Buci area is this wonderful place, more deli than restaurant. We stopped by because of the mouth-watering display of "Jamón ibérico" in the window. If you've ever seen the Rick Steeves episode where he savours the ham in Barcelona, then you know what I'm talkin' bout. This is cured ham on the bone, sliced very thin, and it is heavenly. They have at least 4 varieties, including one from Portugal. We had two tapas plates of two different kinds, with wine, that made a memorable lunch. It is not cheap, but it is the real thing - there's nothing else like it!
