Paris has many very good restaurants and in many cities I would rate 16 Hausmann very good--however, I have a higher standard for Paris. The food is very good. The service for this caliber of restaurant was okay during our visit. Perhaps it was that we had a new waiter--first night--first table service. However, in a fine restaurant, a new waiter usually has a back-up and this person did not. She had trouble opening the wine. Service was slow and showed up when it showed up. Waiter was very pleasant and perhaps by now is quite good. Food was very good, good quality, not particularly interesting or memorable.
