We've eaten in quite a few Michelin-starred restaurants, but this is one that truly deserves its three stars. Beautiful setting (we began with Champagne in the garden courtyard, and then ate lunch in the dining room). Excellent food and service throughout.

My husband and I were keen to try the No. 1 Trip Advisor rated restaurant in Paris and managed to get in for Saturday lunch at quite short notice. Everything about the experience was wonderful from the excellent but humourous service to the food. We chose from the a la carte menu rather than going for the tasting one and had a couple of glasses of wine each as recommended by the sommelier. However, we had so many amuse bouches and palate-cleansing courses that we felt like we had had worked our way through a tasting menu anyway. The food and wine were both absolutely delicious but not overwhelming and the mirrored sweetie cabinet at the end of the meal was a wonder to behold. However, the amazing food and atmosphere is matched by amazing prices - as in amazingly high. Our lunch cost over €650 without service so this is really only a place for a blow-out celebration meal. If you can afford it, its truly great, but expect to pay for the experience.

I am a foodie and have dined at some of the best restaurants in the US. I do not need to list them. You know what they are. The three Michelin star restaurants in the US do not hold a candle to Epicure. Everything at Epicure is the best. The service is over the top. It is not stuffy. In fact it is quite friendly. Our main server Hitomi was always smiling. I told the som that I wanted wine from either Pauillac or Margaux and he made excellent recs without beating me up IMO. We had the tasting menu and every course was memorable. The duck was the best I have had. The presentations were works of art. The desserts were over the top. We payed extra for cherries jubilee and were not disappointed. The meal lasted almost 4 hrs. Be warned you will be eating A LOT as the portions are not miniature. After dinner, we finished our wine in the garden which is beautiful day or night. Unless you can throw away 1000 euro on a meal you want to make sure you will not be disappointed. I am sure some critic could find fault. I think it was the best meal I have had and would spend the money again (and probably will).

Btw they will do their best to accommodate dietary restrictions. Just let the server know.

Dear guest,

It is a great pleasure to read your comments about your recent experience at Epicure. Indeed, Hitomi is a lovely waitress and I am sure that she made all possible effort to have you spend a nice time. Delighted that the recommendation for the wine was suitable, and that you enjoy the surrounding as much as the choice within the tasting menu.

You are right to warn others about eating a lot, because it is generally what happens. And as you have rightly stated, we are always happy to help with dietary restrictions.

We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again very soon.

Warm regards,

There is something fabulous about going to a restaurant and being literally blown away by original, delicious and memorable food.

I took my husband to Epicure to celebrate his birthday this Summer. I booked a table on the terrace, however the weather was a little chilly, so we were placed inside the restaurant at a table facing the beautiful garden and fountain in the Bristol courtyard - a perfect compromise. We could quite easily have spent the afternoon staring out the window admiring the view!

Fortunately we were distracted by the arrival of our food, with beautiful "amuse bouches" in between. We ordered the Summer lunch menu, which took full advantage of fresh seasonal produce - the tzatziki was just divine! Our food was wonderfully textured and delicious, and the accompanying wines equally good.

Epicure is definitely up there with my best restaurant experiences. The service was excellent, the setting lovely, and the food was amazing. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone looking for a great way to while away an afternoon over a fantastic lunch in Paris.

Wow. Amazing!!! A beautiful opulent 15 table room in the gorgeous Hotel Le Bristol was the setting for the most wonderful meal!! The glassware was Baccarat and the Silverware Christolfe and the plates Raynaud. We knew this was definitely going to be an experience. We have eaten at The French Laundry In Napa Valley, Calif. Daniel and Jean George's in NYC but this cuisine is at another level of Excellence!! We even ate at The Four Seasons Le Cinq the previous evening! This fine French Cuisine blew Le Cinq out of the water!! We had the tasting menu at both restaurants and by far loved the 7 course meal ? At Epicure!!! They are a 3 Star Michelin Restaurant for a reason!! The service was incredible and inviting . The portions were larger sized than at Le Cinq so we filled up faster but loved every course!! Our favorite that evening was the roasted duck! At Le Cinq we loved the tender lamb. The cheese cart and desserts were so fresh and delicious at both restaurants! The wine lists were very extensive at each restaurant as well. At Epicure our dessert consisted of a dark chocolate lattice ball with gold covered chocolate ice cream on the inside of the delicate lattice work and the Flambé Cherries- both impeccable and surprisingly light !! At Le Cinq we had chocolates and marshmallow! We loved every minute of the 3 1/2 hours meal and highly recommend it to anyone !!!!
