Went here for lunch and had a lovely time, even though I was on my own. It's in a lovely part of the city not far from Les Halles. The food was very good and the waitress serving couldn't have been nicer - an absolute treasure. The lunch menu is excellent value for money. I'll be back!

Classic French food, well-prepared. Very friendly service. Small, but charming (exposed beams, stone wall, dark paneling). Casual, cosy. Call ahead, even the same day, to reserve a table as they fill up very quickly after about 8:30pm and they may be booked, even if tables seem available when they open at 7:30pm. My husband loves the hearty escargot in a rich sauce served in a copper cassolette. Delicious maigret de canard (duck breast) in a dark cherry sauce. The lotte (monkfish) is a nice, lighter option. Vegetable sides included with most main courses. Reasonable prices for Paris, good selection of wines offered by glass, 1/4 liter, 1/2 liter, or bottle.

We went twice to this restaurant because the first time was so good that we came back for a birthday lunch on our last day in Paris...amazing waiter (Sebastian) who was smiling all the time and very prompt...food was excellent!!! The only thing is that the menu is in French but the waiter was very accommodating by explaining the menu..price is very good for the quality of the food. We will definitely go back and spread the word. I t was an excellent french dining experience!

We had a charming evening at this elegant little bistrot. The fish dishes were among the best that we have tried in France and the onion soup was properly caramelised. We had a disappointing experience with fish at Le Pharamond so were pleasantly surprised. The waiter was extremely helpful in explaining all dishes and recommending suitable choices.
The ambience was very good. Not too many noisy Americans, which is rare in Paris.

We happened upon this place on our first evening in Paris, a Saturday night. The place was filled with tables to its maximum capacity. Quickly after we got a table the place really started filling in both with a bachelor's party, locals, and tourists. It made for a crowded and lively atmosphere. The food was exactly what one expects from a French restaurant, tasty and well pepared. It was nice leisurely meal. We'd definitely go again.
