“Feel at home in Paris”

We enjoyed our 6-day stay, and for us (4 with two boys 13 & 17) it was a 5/5 experience.
Anne provided us with accurate info of the apartment and surroundings, and responded fast to our messages. This was for us far better than any hotel would've been. Value for money is very good.
You'll have no problems with finding (excellent) restaurants, bakeries, cheese stores, fruit stores, supermarkets, barber's etc. at close distance. Everything is right there.
The 4/5 comes because this might not be the right accommodation for everybody though:
-the apartment is a relaxed (bohemian in a good sense) kind of home. It doesn't even try to provide a grand hotel kind of luxury. If you have that in mind, maybe you should find something else.
-You'll have to carry your luggage three floors up. No elevator. Elderly people might find it challenging.
-the closest metro stop is under renovation so bus 85 is the closest public transport you'll find at the moment. Closest operating metro stops are easily at a walking distance though.
In this part of the city you'll be sharing public space in the streets with people coming from all corners of the world. You'll get an authentic experience of living in one of the greatest cities in the World.
The bike renting system Velib is the means of transportation you should be using. Paris by bike is Paris at it's best. For the residents and the visitors alike.

Liked best: Living like a Parisian.
Liked least: Sofa bed was a composite of a mattress bigger than the frame. We slept well though.

“Enjoyed our stay”

Apartment had everything we needed. Nice and clean. Easy to find, close to public transit. Ann provided useful list of tips and information for our stay in Paris. Nearby are bars, restaurants, wine merchant, grocery... If you need it I think it's within walking distance. Short walk to Sacre Coeur (must visit). Very easy to communicate with Ann, and she is super nice and helpful with all our questions.

“A taste of Parisian life in Montmartre”

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful apartment, set back from the road and overlooking a quiet courtyard we felt we had a taste of truly living in Paris. The apartment is uniquely decorated (Anne you have great taste!), bright and airy and was very clean. We had everything we needed for our few days stay. Just on the doorstep there are a number of shops and bars and you are only a few minutes walk away from Sacre Coeur. If you're happy to walk it took us around 40 mins to get into central Paris near the Louvre, Notre Dame etc or if not there are a few metro stations nearby. It was also close to Gare du Nord, we walked to the apartment. Anne was very helpful and friendly, great communication leading up to and during our stay and made our visit very easy and stress free. Would recommend and will stay again!

“Charming apartment”
Reviewed 27 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

The apartment was lovely and Anne was incredibly helpful. I'm just not sure the area was perfect for young families and probably more suited to younger travellers or people without children.

“Wonderful Apartment, Wonderful Stay”
Reviewed 18 September 2015 for a stay in September 2015

In a city celebrated for its charm and character, this apartment has enough of both to stand out. Situated on a bustling street in the 18th Arrondissement, it offers a wealth of bars, cafes, restaurants and shops on its doorstep (the apartment is reached by crossing a small internal courtyard, however, so there’s also good protection from street noise). The owner, Anne, was on hand to meet us on arrival, with lots of practical information and suggestions on how to best enjoy the neighbourhood.
The apartment is very pleasant, well kept and decorated in a laid back bohemian style, just as you’d expect from Paris. The living/kitchen area is open plan, with a couch that folds down to form a comfortable double; the bathroom and bedroom are to the back, reached by a small corridor, so there’s a good level of separation if you have two parties sharing.
The property is at the foot of the butte Montmartre, a side street immediately adjacent to the apartment building will lead you to the Sacre-Couer in minutes, albeit by way of some very steep steps - my suggestion would be to take these as a shortcut on your return, and a more meandering approach to the basilica by way of Rues Ramey, Custine, Caulaincourt, Lamark… these streets offer more in the way of local places to eat, drink and shop, while those in the immediate vicinity of the Sacre-Couer have their eye firmly on the tourist dollar.
Otherwise, there’s a metro station within easy walking distance that will deliver you to the Ile de la Cite in fifteen minutes, and from there all of Paris is yours to explore. I had a wonderful stay here, and recommend it thoroughly.

“Feeling at home in Paris”

My boyfriend and I stayed a week in Paris in this lovely apartment.

Upon arrival, the apartment is clean and the owner sent through very good and helpful tips and explanations making our introduction as effortless as possible. She also let us know what is happening in the area and which places is worth a visit.

The apartment is situated outside the usual tourist scene, but so close to all the sights, we didn't even notice. And due to that fact, we felt like Parisians staying amongst the locals and not the usual tourist groups.

The flat is surrounded by a couple of nice local pubs, a butcher selling rotisserie chickens downstairs, a bakery for the daily baguette and a market just around the corner with fresh produce from veg to fish and all inbetween.

We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return again.
