“Menu over complicated”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 April 2014

Although the food was good and the menu creative, we found the dishes a little hard to digest. There were too many different flavours and I don't rate this bistro as highly as others have. The room is small which is ok except there was no air and it got very hot and uncomfortable.
The menu is lengthy, with lots of different ingredients for each dish, and written only on two blackboards. We found it difficult to read these and so choosing a meal felt a bit hit and miss as the people serving were very busy.
A good thing is that it is away from the usual tourist areas and the majority of people eating there were French. However it did feel as a result that we got less attention.

“Fantastic Bistrot”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 March 2014

This was the kind of place we were looking for in Paris. A tiny family run Bistrot offt he beaten track with only approx 10 tables. FOr first time Parisiens it was easy to find and from the moment we walked in to a lovely greeting & big smile we were made to feel welcome and they worked with us on our dodgy French (they do speak enough english to get by). The food was plentiful and flavoursome, the bread and dips to start were lovely and replenished on request, and the wine smooth and rewarding. We were in here for hours, relaxing and eating and found it a lovely way to spend our evening.

“French couisine comme il faut”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 January 2014

Say that you have rare chances to meet French couisine. Say that you you want to sip the experience with a single visit. Then, this is the right place, one of the best rep of small, warm French bistrot. Nice for couples. The tuna steak with ratatuille was masterpiece, as everything else, with personal touch. Of course, wine choices are very good, we are in France!

“Truly one of the best real french bistros in the 12th arr!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 July 2013

Very creative menues for very reasonable prices (22 euros for 2 courses, 27 for three!). Super kind and attentive host. Just 12 tables so call for a reservation to be sure. Non meat dishes also very nice. Beautiful wines too.
