“Never been disappointed with their pizzas”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

Probably our 3rd or 4th visit here. We like authentic Italian pizzas, ie thin crust, lots of flavour and often without mozarella (the absence seems to accentuate the flavour). Here the Pescatore & Lutetia (?) pizzas both came without cheese & were first class. No doubt the wood fired oven helps. Excellent espresso too.
Definitely one to return to. Not expensive.

“Fast and friendly”
Reviewed 4 October 2013

Good Italian food with a really traditional feel. Excellent pizzas and pastas and enough choice to suit my vegetarian / seafood preferences. The staff are friendly and attentive. This is not haute cuisine, but try eating cheaper and better in St Germain and you will have a hard time.

“Good honest food”
Reviewed 18 September 2013

The mark of a good restaurant must surely be how hard it is to get a table, and this place is permanently heaving, lunch and dinner - surely the best recommendation there is.

Le Golfe de Naples looks unpromising from the outside but provides pizza and pasta of excellent quality. The restaurant is compact and you do generally eat very close to the people next to you, but this place has no delusions of grandeur, it's just good honest cooking, tasty and good value.

I have eaten here for informal work lunches, with friends and with parents and have yet to be disappointed. Remember appearances can be decieving, don't be put off, the outside is shabby, the welcome is warm.

Buonissimo!

“Good friendly basic pizzeria”
Reviewed 9 August 2013 via mobile

We ate here with our 8 year old on a busy Friday evening. The pizzas were more authentic than the Parisian average and service friendly. It doesn't pretend to be something special but what it does it does well

“Great food, excellent service, pizza in keeping with Naples style”
Reviewed 30 May 2013

After a week and a half in Greece and 2 days eating french onion soup, we were so very pleased to eat a lovely meal here. I thought the pizza was in keeping with those we ate in Naples, though possibly a little thicker. We had a traditional margarita but added ham and the fried egg which was fantastic! Our 4 yr old was lapping up the egg with her piece. We had a salad, a great bottle of Rosso de Montepulciano, a serving of essentially chicken parmesean with ham and cheese on top, and everything toppped off with great espresso. Fantastic and attentive service. We were stuffed and happy as we walked out (carrying our 4 yr old who fell asleep in the booth). It was a very good end to our vacation.
