“Pleasant”

Pleasant fondue place - nice with kids. Not too pricey. Decor pleasant. Small tables but that's Paris!

“Expected more from previous reviews”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 January 2013 via mobile

Nothing to complain about, but 42 in two is quite expensive for: an appetizer (a kind of sausage tasting more of garlic than meat, and supermarket cucumber), a bourguignon, 50cl water, a glass of bordeaux and a coffee.
Very kind staff, also speak Italian. Notice that local is almost full of Italians.
No trace of 16?-menu.
It deserves just a try.

“Quaint but unimpressed with the food!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 December 2012

Came to this little restaurant with my wife after researching the best place to go near the Pantheon.
This restaurant is quaint in appearance in a nice setting just outside the tourist district. Having ate at Le Petit Chatelet the night before however, unfortunately this restaurant didn't even come close. Beef bourgignon was uninspiring with fatty jelly beef, more like a failed roast dinner. Pork fillet was average and again, uninspiring and like what your gran would cook.
Pricing reasonable, most people seemed to be eating the fondue which seems to be the way to go at this restaurant.

“Charming traditional restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2012 via mobile

My fiancee and I came upon this moderately-priced little place while wandering through the quaint streets of the Latin Quarter. We had the classic Fondue, for ?16 each, and glasses of good red wine for ?6 each. The restaurant is decorated in traditional French mountain style and has ambience to match.
