Somerhing has happened to Japanese restaurant in Paris. It may be that the old Chinese restaurants are now out of fashion and they have all turned to being Japanese. I wouldn't have minded that if they had kept the Japanese standard, but that's not the case. Sushi is fashionable today, but this is far from giving me a good balanced sushi.
Their choice of fish is either salmon or salmon with the occasional piece of thawed tuna. The balance between the rice and the fish was almost ok, but the tempature was right out of the fridge. Nothing moulding together. The soya in yamasa bottles was nothing like doy sauce. The Gioza was tasty but had more Chinese taste than the fine Japanese. Altogether, we had two set sushi lunches with miso and we added a portion of five gioza, paid 33 euros. My supermarket sushi is more interesting, tastes better and costs less, but then Paris is really expensive. Let's not talk about the washrooms, I would definitely avoid using them!!!!
