This Seine cruise starts right at the base of the Eiffel tower. I believe it was about an hour long. We sat on the open deck. There must have been chairs for 30 or more people.
We got on in the evening and the sun was getting very low by the time we returned. So many of our pictures showed the buildings or monuments bathed in golden light from the setting sun. It was beautiful! There was a recording (in English) telling all about the sights we were passing by and giving background information. It was very interesting. Highlights were the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Eiffel Tower, the Grand Palais. The bridges themselves are incredible and of course are best viewed from the river. Pont Alexandre III is the most ornate bridge in Paris built around 1900 and Pont Neuf is the oldest bridge in Paris, completed in 1607. It's so unique with 384 sculpted heads and no two are alike!
We took the cruise on our first evening in Paris. The next day, when we went up in the Eiffel tower we were able to recognize many of the sights that we saw on our cruise. You really must take this cruise.
