Charming place! Great wine recommendations and overall welcoming, attentive staff although the restaurant was jam packed! Food? Well, ups and downs, foie-gras not the best we've ever tasted, chicken in a pot was tasty however a bit on the dry side. A tender leg of lamb made us smile again!

“Avoid this rip-off”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

I ordered the guacamole shrimp and got two very small shrimp sitting in a green puddle that bore some similarity to avocado, and the main course was grandma's chicken. This consisted of slightly warmed leg and after two small bites there was almost nothing left. Paris has many bad restaurants and this is one of them. They do a good business there, I can't imagine why.

“Yumm duck confit!”
Reviewed 17 August 2014 via mobile

We loved this restaurant. Initially chosen for location, close to accommodation we returned on numerous occasions to try different menu items. Each and every selection was delicious, but the duck confit had to be the best I tried in the five weeks we were in Paris. The foire gras was amazing too. Great atmosphere, terrific location, reasonably priced meals with huge portions. Unpretentious, prompt service and waiter ready to advise if unsure.

“Quality Bistro in the Latin Quarter”
Reviewed 10 August 2014

Top Notch bistro. Great authentic neighborhood spot (near Sorbonne, Pantheon). Wonderful service. A marvelous place to enjoy classic french food.

We had the monkfish - wrapped in bacon - so delicious it melted in your mouth. Came with a coffee sauce and risotto.
The roast chicken was perfect, crisp and juicy.
Our onion soup was way too salty - pointed this out and they took it off our bill.
A fantastic wine collection. Cheese selections from the top fromager (Laurent Dubois) in France, and they sell Berthillon ice cream - also the best quality glace in Paris. The Latin Quarter is a little village, and they source from local artisans and grocers.

A really pleasant place mostly locals eating here. All food are authentic and nicely prepared. Not a pricy place at all.
