“Great spot for a cocktail or two!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 December 2013

Located on Saint Germain boulevard in the heart of St Germain des Pres, this is good spot with good service and a nice atmosphere to enjoy a few cocktails.

And compared with the other cafes on Saint Germain Boulevard the prices are very reasonable.

“A good place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

Went here on a couple of evenings before going elsewhere for dinner. The cocktails were very nice - mango mojito and pina colada in particular. Don't be put off if you look in the door and think it's totally full. It won't be - by an amazing trick there's always a couple of seats and a square foot of table in there for you and your partner. Just sidle in.

“Good place to rest and eat”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 September 2013

After running all over with the family, stumbled in here for late lunch. Not crowded, not expensive, but comfortable, good, and reasonably priced. Don't remember what everyone had, it was nothing 'signature' or distinctive, but a pleasant experience that if we happened upon the place again, we would go back.

“"Welcome find and Break"”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 September 2013

Happened to be there or go there with my friend and I have to confess it was one of my best finds in recent years! Excellent Ambiance, Excellent Staff, Excellent Crowd, Excellent Menu selection! and a fantastic Mojito! Even though it is not a must see and must visit place in Paris as per majority of the tourists, but it is one my must see and visit places!

“Wish I Could Go Back Right Now”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 September 2013

During a recent trip to Paris we stopped by La Rhumerie and it was a welcome oasis amidst a long day of sightseeing.

Our waiter and staff were fantastic, helpful and seemingly understanding that the bedraggled American tourists were hovering precariously close to the end of their rope. With that in mind, our waiter brought us over two small glasses filled with their unbelievably delicious mango mojito concoction and told us to give them a try. In a word, they were heaven.

We immediately ordered two more along with some of their delicious cod fritters and sweet potato chips. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. We enjoyed our drinks and appetizers so much that we returned two days later for a repeat and once again, enjoyed a table full of tasty appetizers and more of the awesome mojitos.

Do yourself a favor, stop here for a much-needed respite from sightseeing while visiting Paris. You'll be wishing you could return long after you leave.
