I love this place. I made a reservation (a must, it was packed) online while still in the US. When my fiance and I arrived, I recognized both the owner and his lovely wife from the website. The wife remembered that we were from New Orleans and was so incredibly sweet. Our waiter was hysterical. We laughed non-stop when he was around and he was incredibly attentive despite the large number of guests. The owner brought out one of our courses and was also very kind. It was awesome to see him traveling table to table greeting everyone. They are passionate about their product!
The food...holy cow. We started with the foie gras sprinkled with sea salt, which was out of this world, and the cheese plate (also delicious). Loved that there were toasters at each table so we had warm bread throughout. My fiance got the duck breast and I the duck leg. We each took our first bite and gave each other the "WOW" look. Truly delightful. This was my favorite meal while in Paris, very possibly my favorite during our entire 2 week trip through Europe. I highly recommend!
