We went there on July 14th, after the fireworks, and were delighted that they were still serving food (the kitchen closes at midnight). The staff was very friendly and the ham omelette was delicious!

My husband and I had lunch here when we stayed in an appartment closeby, and we had lunch at Chez Ginette. My husband had the most scrumptious cheese burger, cooked to perfection (saignant), and I choose the steak tartare thaï. The tartare was fantastic! Loads of sweet chilli sauce, coriander and peanuts in it, good quality beef finely minced, really spectacular! Anyone should try it.
Service is very friendly and fast, the owner is wonderful. English spoken if you need to. When in Montmartre, find this place and enjoy.

Relaxed atmosphere. English and French menu. Good wines. Happy laughter. Young efficient staff and kitchen obviously efficient. Onion soup brilliant and other comments on Trip Advisor are not those of my experience. Loved having free WiFi.

Boring!! Absolutely not!! The menu is excellent and the food so tasty and well presented that we ate there each evening, The veal Milanaise was the best I have ever eaten and the staff were friendly, welcoming and multi lingual, not that we needed the last. Prices were on a par of other establishments and very reasonable.
As with most city centre restaurants and bars, toilet facilities, although very clean and tidy, were extremely small and limited to one unit for what was a fairly large restaurant. UK planning authorities would not find that acceptable.

This started with the French onion soup - this had three pieces of bread in the bowl and not much onion soup. I wondered why they gave us sharp knives with the soup, until i tried the eat the supposedly soaked break that I imagine was as easy to chew as shoe leather.
The main course perked up with a cote du boeuf- the problem was this dish is for two, but it would have fed a family of four.
much too much, and having left half of it, we saw a homeless person begging from two young couples eating outside in the cold, which having sent back half our meal left a bad taste in the mouth. This restaurant has had some good write ups, so mayber we were unlucky.
