“Excelent place to stay”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

I was there a couple of nights and it was very nice. The facilities are very good and the location is great. If you stay over 4 nights in Paris you should buy the 5 days suwaby ticket, that will help you move freely in the whole city and will save you a lot of money. The station Les Gobelins is 50 meters away from the hostel, so it works great for this. Allthough it's not in the city center the location is very good, don't hesitate because of the location. Paris is an awesome city... enjoy it!

Helpful staff that equips you with the info you need, and good enough location. Great that even after you check out in the morning, they let you store your bag in a locker all day for free if need be (in case your flight leaves late that night). I stayed in a 4 person room with a bathroom. Bathroom was small but clean, and the bed was average. Breakfast included and is a plate of a croissant and small baguette plus jam, coffee, etc. Not a bad place to stay, but may be more expensive than other hostels of better quality.

This hostel is a lovely place to stay in. With two metro stations and and two beautiful districts (Latin Quarter being one of them) at walk-able distances, I am glad that I stayed in this hostel. The staff were very friendly and always helped me with directions and suggestions. I stayed there for a total of 3 nights and i didn't find a single reason to complain. The food was really good and the room was cleaned on a daily-basis. If you're traveling alone or with your friends, you should definitely stay here. It's affordable and totally worth the money.

I stayed at Oops for two nights with my boyfriend in July. This hostel is a short walking distance from two subway stops in a quiet, beautiful neighborhood. It is also walking distance to a shopping mall. The lobby is small and quirky, but the staff is kind and attentive. There is a small bulletin board in the lobby that has info on local happenings, if you find yourself with a free night. If you arrive early before check in, you can store your bag in a small storage closet at the back of the dining area. If you have something you really care about, you might feel more comfortable keeping it on your person, as this closet doesn't have eyes on it at all times. There weren't many outlets in the rooms, but plenty in the lobby. The rooms and bathrooms were fairly clean. Each room as AC control which you can shut off by opening the window if there is a nice breeze. Breakfast is cereal, a croissant, juice and a coffee (aka enough to get you going!). I enjoyed Oops and would definitely stay again.

Very friendly staff, ready to give advices, allowed me to change the room because mine had a communication door to the neighbor room, and my room was therefore very noisy (you can hear your neighbor breath...). The double rooms are quite expensive for one person alone, but same price if occupied by 2 persons. Very small rooms with one big bed and one chair, nothing else to put your stuff (no table, no wardrobe, no TV, no shampoo). Breakfast very simple but included in the price, the breakfast room is very small, better to go early for breakfast. Heating is quite at the limit in winter. Free wifi in the whole hotel, but often saturated. In summary not for couples or romantic stay, but ok for someone spending most of his time visiting paris and just needing a bed for the night.

Room Tip: The rooms at the top are the best (double rooms), street side is a bit noiser because of car traffic

I found it very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed. The best thing about it would be its location. The rooms are okey, but to be used only for sleeping and showering. There isn't much room though if you want to sit in a day or two, isntead of going out.

Great for travelers passing through, would recommend if you're looking to visit Paris during the day. The common area has all sorts of appliances you can use to heat or even cook your own food. Breakfast is okey. Would not recommend for couples looking for a romantic stay or families.
