The Pullman Versailles is prime location, right next to the town hall, a stones throw from the Chateau and with restaurants pretty much any which way you walk. Not that you need to leave the hotel as the bar and restaurant provide atmosphere and delicious food and drink. I've seen the disgruntle reviews and am pretty shocked at what people can say. More likely due to bad weather or an argument with the other half.
I stay there on a regular basis and with all the hotels I can choose from. These include Hiltons, Novotels, even the palace up the road. I always but always come to the Pullman (if it's not fully booked).
The staff are really outstanding, there really is nothing that they will not try their very best to do for you day or night. The rooms, although dated, are in keeping with the area and not some modern 'fake wood' and fancy curves junk. The TV works with a good quality picture, and although it may sound daft it is far from the case in plenty of Parisian hotels.
I'm a smoker so I love the 4th floor. The rooms are a little smaller but there is balcony where you can sit and listen to the music from the school next door if you're on the castle side of the hotel. The views up there are awesome too. At the right time of the year, when the trees have been cut back you can see the chateau, on the other side of the road there is the town hall, in the distance with the sun set you can admire the domes.
I saw someone mentioned aircon in a previous review. Well there was some truth to that, a year ago. it's been refurbished since and works a treat.
All in all a great, and repeated experience. See you there next week!

Room Tip: For me 4th floor every time.

Stayed in this hotel for a while during a business trip.I was impressed by the location ,facilities
and by the professionalism of all staff included breakfast team which was one of the best that I have seeing. All facilities were good enough and staff from the front desk hopeful.
Rich breakfast whit a variety of staff, warm check in and check out ,clean. I was also impressed by the size of my room and specially by the size of the bed, you could fit three people in.lol.
My room was cleaned every day and sometimes twice as I have requested.
Good restaurant whit good menu and affordable price. Excellent wine and variety of drinks.
Surprise by the presence of the manager Mr.Frederic Clement who was very present and concerned by the quality of services that his hotel could provide. Congratulations all staff!

Stuffy old box with dank hallways non functioning air conditioning and hellish noise outside. If you find yourself trapped here try to avoid the western side where the architecture students like to drive all night parties with their own bad brass bands, or the east where street traffic is the most furious.

This hotel has two valuable assets: Its location, 300 meters from the château, and its staff very Professional and helpful. Unfortunatelly these assets are overwhelmed by the obvious and scandalous deterioration of the facilities. Rooms have certainly not been revamped for a very long period as are corridors. I was given a DIRTY room where wall lamps were falling from the wall, and in which wallpaper was peeling away..... Adn when I ask fro a change at the dezsk the change was mmade immediately becasue they know about the situation. And prices are just crazy for so poor a quality (around 250 /300 euros a room) withput mentioning the restaurant price. I asked fro some cheese (which they hadn't and was offered goat cheese sophisticaly named Père Louis cheese. Very common cheese, charged 12 euros per slice plus 5 euros for room service .....! Overall the hotel clearly takes advantage of its localization without offering what is expected in a Pullman. This is the reason why it is mainly full of Japanese tourists only who are there only because they didn't choose themselves the hotel.

Room Tip: Ask to see the room first

By the title you can imagine the real good experience I had through the years at the Pullman Versailles Chateau
A very high quality hotel , that finds in its own staff the best thing for the guests.
Anyway everything seems special at the Pullman Versailles, starting from the very warm check in , the rooms, always clean and confortable, the bar with its personnel skilled on drink preparation and with good quality of wines, the fitness room, with now also brand new good machines, the restaurant, with many choices for a special meal, and how forget the position , you are just few meters by the castle,a wondeful place for a run or just a walk in the majestic garden and ,most important, during your staying you are always supported by a very prepared Staff, which can help you for any issue always finding the best solution for you. A special thought goes to the receptionist I met and being always kind and helpful with all of my requests, such as Arnaud, David, Laetitia... they let become my staying for business far from home a special moment shared with them.It is really hard once you are experienced in the Pullman to find the same in other Hotels!
So.. I take this opportunity to really thank all the Pullman Versailles's Staff !

We choose the Pullman because of it's location so close to the Chateau and also because it has secure car parking. The hotel must be the closest hotel to the entrance of Versailles which allowed an early start to try and beat the long queue. It is a five star hotel with all the conveniences you would expect although there were a couple of maintenance problems with our room which were fixed the following day after a couple of reminders. The rooms are spacious d very comfortable, crispy sheets a d big fluffy towels. Our room was at the end of the corridor so there were so e annoying internet dropputs. The staff are very helpful and friendly and all together it was a very pleasant stay. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby so eating out is not a problem, and the Information Office is located in the building next door.

Exceptionally friendly and knowledgable staff. Easy, underground car parking (even for people who normally drive on the other side of the road). Amazing location with easy walking access to the older part of town, the market square and the palace. Highly recommended!
