Great hotel, with modern rooms and high quality restaurants. Excellent service. Top gym and indoor swimming pool. Best value for Money in Versailles area. In Summer, its location just close to Versailles Palace gardens is very conveniente for jogging / walking.

We stayed at the annex for two nights. We have a pleasant stay i guess probably because we set our expectation right in the first place. We know we are looking for a reasonable-priced, comfortable stay right next to Versailles so that we can avoid crowds. We knew we made a very right decision when we got off the RER C train at 5:00pm and saw the crowds who were trying to leave Versailles.

The room is huge by Paris standard. Beds are comfortable. Selection in the buffet breakfast is much bettr than most of other French hotels that we have been to (but nowhere close to the Asian 5 star hotel standard). But I would agree that their service is not up to 5 star standard. For example, we drank some red wine and left the used glasses at room. The glasses are supposed to be washed and put back into the room after they do the daily cleaning. But we couldn't find the glasses the 2nd day.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. There is a gate to Versailles park right next to the main gate of the hotel. This gate is open from 8:00am to 6:00pm during winter time. We are happy that we stayed two days. We took the almost empty RER C to Versailles in the evening and saw everyone fighting to get on to train leaving Versailles. After a good sleep, we went to visit the palace, Grand triannon, Petite Triannon, Queen's hamlet in the early morning and enjoyed ourself in the park in the afternoon. We went to the park again the next morning for a relaxing jogging. After breakfast, we boarded RERC and transfered to RERB at Saint Michel to the airport. Such an arrangement avoids the crowd and allows us to enjoy the beauty of the palace.

We stayed here for a night because we wanted to visit Versailles's Estate. The location of the hotel was unbeatable. However, this hotel is not as grand as its name.

We stayed in the palace building (not the annex - which looked like a college dorm), although our room was suppose to be a good room, we weren't impressed.

The room smell and the carpet was worn and old. Our room was near the towel storage room, so every 5 minutes we hear the their door slamming (maybe the hotel lack noise insulation).

The worst experience was our sink clogged and water wouldn't drain. We called the front desk and they said their maintenance people are not available. With the standing water and the resin flowing in the sink and attracting mosquitos in the summer night was extremely distinguishing. This was not an experience we were expecting from a Waldorf Astoria Hotel!

Customer service wasn't that impressive, the staff was cold and disinterested, again not a 4/5 stars hotel experience.

As a Hilton Gold, they had some snack and water bottle for us in the room and two free drinks in the lobby, however there was no BREAKFAST offered.

We visited the pool, although we didn't use it, however from the look it looked average - not anything exceptional for a "Waldorf Astoria" hotel.

Overall, I think of this hotel as a 3 stars hotel in a 6 stars location.

Room and customer service needs to addressed. Hilton should take note of this property and reconsider if it is worth the Waldorf Astoria title.

Also, I like to note that the be careful when you book, you might end up in the annex building which looks nothing like the picture of the hotel on the website. Its a really ugly brick building. However, I didn't go inside, so I don't know the condition. However it will be shocker for those who thought they will be staying in a "palace" and arrived to see they will be in a brick building.

Room Tip: Room on the higher floor facing the estate (you can even catch the firework on Saturday)

This is a Waldorf Astoria Hotel, and it really is a palace. The rooms are large with beautiful views of woods, and Versailles grounds. You are a short walk from the Versailles and downtown. I really liked the service and the fact that the bathrooms have heated marble floors. This is considered the nicest hotel in Versailles, and I can see why. Ultimately, however, it is the service that makes this visit so pleasant and memorable. We saw. Excellent service at every corner - from the cheerful staff during breakfast to Alain, the concierge, to restaurant and staff and valets. I would suggest getting a bigger room or suite with views. This hotel accepts Hilton Honors points.

Room Tip: Great Alternative to Staying in Paris only 15 to 25 minutes away from Paris

We stayed here for 3 nights over the Christmas period and loved every minute of it.
Hotel wise, it was decorated tastefully and beautiful touches all around the hotel. Service wise, we had to wait over an hour for our room to be ready even though we arrived close to 3pm. But we didnt mind hanging out at the Gordon Ramsay bar for snacks and a welcome drink provided by the hotel. No rush, it was Christmas!

We were in a King Deluxe Pavillon facing room. I didnt mind not facing the gardens. The room was tastefully decorated and with the exception of suites, probably one of the biggest hotel rooms I've stayed in. Unfortunately, its either the lack of proper sound proofing or we just had very noisy guests who didnt bother keeping their volume down staying on the same floor and above us the first night. I was resting before our Xmas dinner and loud thumping of guests above us and kids running outside the room could be heard. UGH.

Was fine for the remaining two nights though!

Breakfast was the usual spread of sausages, bread/croissants, meats, egg and crepe station. Wasnt included as part of our room and at approx. 36 euros per person, the quality was only so-so. But being not too near to town center of Versailles means you are pretty much limited to breakfast choices unless you are willing to make the walk into town. We also tried the room service menu which was lovely. High quality good food - you had a choice of choosing from the GR restaurant or La Varenda menu.

Location wise, its unbeatable if your main reason to visit Versailles is the chateau! It is right next to the gardens of the chateau. We simply walked out of the hotel and after 5 minutes, were in the gardens!! You can also choose to walk to the main entrance which is about 10 minutes away.

We also tried the Spa Guerlain located at the main wing. Celine, my therapist was professional, efficient and so wonderful. Besides the treatment, what I love about the spa is that you can take the lift from your own floor right down to the spa without having to walk through the lobby in your robes. Clever! Swimming pool was heated but rather crowded with kids at evening time, so pick your timing wisely if you want some peace and quiet.

Parking is available on the grounds and the hotel is dog-friendly. Saw so many dogs around and even at our Xmas dinner!

Overall, will stay here again. Thank you Trianon Palace for such wonderful memories of Christmas 2013!

Room Tip: We were in the main wing facing the new wing. Didnt mind the view even though we werent facing the g...

I have visited Paris many times. The hotel was easy to reach by car. The rooms were clean and well maintained. I was worried that it would be difficult to visit the Paris museums and attractions since this location is somewhat out of the way. We had no problem however to drive to Paris and back. This time we did not use the subway at all. This was the best overall hotel experience in Paris so far.

Overall, I had a great stay at the Trianon Palace. The staff was very professional and friendly. The room was large, clean and well-appointed. I was upgraded to a room in the main building with a fantastic view of the Palace at Versailles. Really nothing more you could ask for.

The only thing that wasn't perfect about the hotel is it's location. On the plus side of the location, it is very quiet and has great views of the Palace. On the other hand, there isn't anything by the hotel in terms of shops or restaurants. And the hotel is about a mile away from the RER.

Having said that, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel. I plan on going back with my wife later this year, for a much longer stay.
