We loved the ambience and the food was good. But as soon as the other diners left we were encouraged to drink up and leave ASAP - all in a comic, almost Laurel and Hardy fashion. The waiters were very attentive but the old man behind the bar treated us as we have never been treated before . It was only 9.45pm - 21.45h in French. That is quite early in France but perhaps not in Versailles or perhaps not rue d'Anjou, the gentleman walked past our table looking at his watch at 9.40pm and then proceeded to turn off all the bar lights. His body language was tense - clearly wanting us out. We could never go back. He ruined our lovely evening. We threw our wine, Perrier and coffe down our throats and left. We did leave a tip which we hope the young waiter got hold of. Stephane you need to sort him out !
