We stopped hear a few years ago after a long drive from the U K on our way to the boat which was only down the road . And what a find it was so peaceful and in relaxing surroundings we had a big room in the main building with a view over the courtyard garden . After a lovely relaxing night we had our breakfast out in the garden . We will defiantly call again :))

Room Tip: A room facing the garden was very tranquil and relaxing

We loved this boutique hotel...great room size, lovely bathroom and great AC! Friendly staff and delightful courtyard for splendid breakfasts...a short stroll along quiet streets to main square...a charming hotel and a great base for exploring the area.

Room Tip: We were in main building..very quiet, high ceilings in rooms.

First time in the walled city. Hotel is excellently positioned in a lovely area. Room was really good size with great ac. Facilities throughout hotel were first rate. Breakfast is a joy in the inner courtyard. Definitely looking forward to coming back. Aigues Mortes is a stunning historical town in its own right and a great place to be based for a trip to neighboring areas.

Room Tip: All rooms are quiet.

Stage 6 nights in May 2014. Very contented, excellent room 20' x 14 overlooking inner garden with lovely trees. Well appointed bathroom, big bath, overhead shower,2 washbasins, bath robe and slippers Clarins toiletries. We had room 4, £195 per night for two including excellent breakfast, fruit , toast (DIY ) various croissants, and you could even ask for soft boiled eggs. Free Wi-Fi ( doesn't like chrome ). Indoor swimming pool which was lovely and warm and the hot tub. This old 16 .60 AD Villa has been lovingly and modernised without losing the period feel. restaurant room is gorgeously decorated and apparently the restaurant is recommended by Michelin. We had a disappointing meal, it is also closed Mondays and Tuesdays. This review is about how good the hotel is and it's English-speaking staff, who are attentive and seem to be interested in your days of enjoyment. Special mention for David & Marine.

Room Tip: Superior rooms on first & second floor. No lift

Having stayed at Villa Mazarin last July, we were determined to come back to this haven. so another 2 night stay, Hotel great and just as good as we remembered, this time we had a ground floor courtyard room so could sit out on the terrace and enjoy the peace (OK on Sunday but on Monday afternoon the workmen moved in to demolish and rebuild the lift)
Once again the room was excellent great big bathroom, soft (and big) towels, crisp white bedding and the Clarins toiletries. The pool was good but a bit on the cold side (great once you were in)
The staff friendly and helpful, both David and Marine were lovely and helped make the stay even better.
We dined out at Boem and Atellier de Nicholas, both very good
The walled town is delightful and nothing is far away
Regards
John & Maria

This is a charming, chic hotel within the old ramparts of Aigues-Mortes. Very well located on a principal street, but delightfully quiet and calm. Easy to find with GPS, although it is not absolutely essential to use new tech. Secure underground parking is available for a reasonable fee - this eliminates the hassle of finding on-street parking or public lots.

We stayed 2 nights to begin our tour of southern France. This is a gem of a place: peaceful, clean, and very welcoming. Staff is excellent: friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Many thanks to Marine, David, and Fabien: they are great people and were flexible with our schedule, allowing late checkout and even upgrading our rooms.

Beautiful architecture, typical of the region and history, and very nicely restored. The garden is very soothing, with 3 old trees providing shade and a pleasant ambience. There is a pool just to one side of the garden, well-maintained and relaxing, and the restaurant also looks out onto the garden.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and quiet. Ours looked out over the garden: we were given 2 rooms, not adjoining, but instead enclosed within 1 central door. Nice for a grown-up family: we all had more than enough space! Everyone slept very well - no disturbance in any way.

Excellent location vis-a-vis access to the old town. We easily walked everywhere and found bakeries, restaurants, shops within minutes of the hotel. We will definitely return to this hotel in the near future and spend a few more nights. Highly recommended for couples or families with older children.

This place is inside city walls and besides the wonderful location , it is a really charming place to stay. It is classy building in the heart of the town with beautiful architecture . The ambience take you to the tradition of the region, with classical paintings and furniture but in a light style. The roof of the restaurant is made of glass and one can have a wonderful breakfast and dinner experience. The room I stayed opened to a courtyard with a nice garden. The room was comfortable and spacious. For the night you can eat at the restaurant or just walk a little bit to find nice places around. There is also a small but nice spa with hot tub and sauna. Price was fair for the quality of this hotel.
