Had a dinner there, starter was a very unusual gazpacho combination: beetroot and raspberry with feta cheese: great taster, then had one of the best cassoulet and a super tasty raspberry tart, got also a nice local wine. bill came out around 50 eur which is an outstanding for the quality of the meal. Service was great too. Highly recommended!!!

We ate here based on a search for "best cassoulet in Carcassone". I have no basis for saying that it is the best, but it was certainly delicious, as was the duck confit. We didn't want to leave the area without trying those two traditional foods, and were fortunate to get to do it at this local establishment run by two charming ladies. As others mentioned, we were made to feel very welcome.

We ate here recommended by the owner of our b&b (Patrick) and we found a true local restaurant ran by two lovely ladies. The menu is short, the food is simple, ingredients local, service friendly, we were made to feel very welcome. We had three classic dishes cassoulet, duck confit & creme brulee all delicious and not expensive washed down with some very good house red!

Le Trivalou is a lovely small restaurant just up the slope from the "old bridge". We found the menu offered a good selection, and after having eaten in other places the quality was as good if not better than some which struggled to justify their high prices.
We found the service very good and friendly ( they didn't laugh out loud at my school boy French). the food was simply delicious !
I think that says it all really - highly reccomended.
