This is a great little restaurant near a well higher up in the walled city and satisfyingly distant from the main tourist traps of wonderful Carcassonne. We had a lovely table outside and were made very welcome by all of the staff - our dog in particular was well looked after, receiving a bowl of water on arrival and regular attention by the staff!
The menu has an excellent choice of hot meals and cold options like salads and sandwiches and there is plenty for kids to choose too. My wife had a fresh and delicious nicoise salad served in a kind of pancake bowl while I had a rich and satisfying cassoulet. There was a good selection of drinks too, including wines both from the local area and further afield. An excellent choice for lunch and a lovely place to take a rest from the sightseeing!
