Lovely atmosphere, decent food but nothing spectacular, wobbly bar stools.
Attentive staff and good service.

You can go without concerns to this quite nice restaurant in the plaza Marcaux, la Courtine specialties are pasta ( try their Carbonara, oustanding) and they are renown in France by their pizzas, very good indeed. Recommend to go with a nice local wine. Great place to go.

Went here as my hubby had eaten here last October. We were enticed in by the chef himself with talk of his awards. There was a guitarist playing a little too loudly and serenading when it was obvious we weren't interested. He also wanted tips which was a bit rich inside the restaurant. My pizza arrived (not cooked by the chef as he had been socialising at the bar) it was really bland. (Ham, mushroom and artichoke) and seriously overpriced at €15. My hubby's was a bit better but chorizo was the over riding flavour. The wine was ok but I've had far superior pizzas in the UK and did not think the meal was value for money.

A warm welcome greeted us immediately on opening the door to this relaxed eatery in the main square, Place Marcou. The menu board outside trumpeted the fact that their pizzas came 4th in an international competition & the waiter also mentioned it as he delivered our menus. We all ordered different pizzas; my daughter couldn't decide & asked if she could have an half & half. The chef was happy to oblige. Just then the next table had a plate of frites delivered. They looked & smelled so tempting that we had to get a plate to share. They were delicious & served with fresh, homemade mayonnaise! All three pizzas were fantastic: lovely thin dough bases which had just the right combination of crispiness & airy doughiness; super, tasty sauce & plenty of toppings without being overloaded. Despite being fairly full by now our waiter sang the praises of their tiramisu so we had to try it & it was wonderful; very rich with a delicious, thick custardy, almost creme brûlée like texture. Our daughter enjoyed her Nutella pancake. During the meal we were serenaded by a guitar playing troubadour singing French & Spanish songs. All in all , a very pleasant meal & I can imagine it's even better in the summer when you can sit outside in their courtyard or in the square & watch the world go by.

Needed a lunch to see us through the afternoon and after realising we were near the end of the lunch hour in France we entered inside this quaint restaurant for a pizza and salad.
Service very friendly and efficient, house wine was good as well, but the pizzas and salads we ordered were not so good, pizzas were dry and lacked toppings, the salads were very small and seemed to be from a pre cut packet.
Shame as could be great.
