This restaurant was recommended by friends of ours who travel to France regularly. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is charming and service good. We ordered the 40€ six-course menu. It was a lot of food without being overwhelming and a nice combination of fish and meat. Dinner started off with a small taste served on a spoon (not part of the six courses).
The weather was cold so we could not sit in the courtyard but the dining room is broken into small rooms so was quite cozy.
The wine list was quite reasonable, with many wines from the surrounding appellations. We chose a nice St. Chinian for around 20€.
It is wise to locate this restaurant in advance since it is a little obscure and, as much as you can be in the old city of Carcassone, off the beaten track.
We would happily eat here again.
