Booked on the hoof, 1 hour before arriving and agreed a very good price.
We were a rather grubby-looking family in car (having been camping for a few weeks).
We had to park outside the medieval walls of the city and were met by a bell-boy in a tiny japanese car (narrow passages) to ferry us to the hotel. All great fun.
Our room was a year away from needing refurnishment and so was fine. Liked the TV in the foot of the bed.
We overlooked a narrow bustling city street. I mean this in a good way. I simply don't understand other reviewers who see this as a bad thing or indeed an avoidable thing. it's the nature of the location.
Staff were in fact ever so slightly sniffy but polite.
The pool and views were superb.
