We chose this hotel for its excellent location, as we initially thought it was rather overpriced for a 3 star hotel. Location is key here as there is not much accommodation within the medieval city walls.
The room was spotless and large for a 3-star. A little bit disappointing not being in the main hotel (we were in room no 1 in the ramparts) - fortunately the bar/restaurant right outside our single glazed bedroom window!! wasn't open during our two nights there.
The breakfast was pleasant enough and the hotel staff were very friendly.
To summarise, if we were to stay here again we would choose the main hotel.
I would give our room 10 out of 10 for cleanliness.More
