We spent 3 nights in this b & b and really enjoyed it. We stayed in Room 7 which was on the first floor overlooking the courtyard so it was lovely and quiet. The room was simply and elegantly decorated, and both it and the bathroom were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was on the terrace with a beautiful view to the Cite. The food was simple but tasty - yoghurt with granola and fresh fruit, croissants, bread, jam and cheese, tea/coffee and juice. The location was good - 5 minutes to the Bastide, 10 minutes to the train station and 15 minutes to the Cite. You could get to the Cite a few different ways - the Pont Vieux to the Porte Narbonnaise / Porte Aude or a small bridge in the park opposite the guesthouse and then a walk through the fields.
One thing to note is that you have to pay by cash or French cheque so make sure to have that ready on check out.
I would definitely recommend staying there if visiting Carassonne but do not want to stay in the Cite.

This is a small friendly and clean guest house with large old rooms that meet all your needs. Wel priced and excellently located for ville and cite. It has a terrace with an outstanding view of the cite. Host Patrick is really friendly and helpfull. If you are going to be in Carcassonne for Bastille day there cannot be a better spot to view the fireworks.

My daughter and I spent six nights at Carcassonne guesthouse and we are very pleased with our stay. Our room was nice and comfortable, and the guesthouse owner was helpful and service minded. The location of the guesthouse is good and the view of the castle from the terrace is excellent. We will remember the good breakfasts that we were served on the terrace, looking out over the castle!

Not much too add after all of the other great reviews! Family Suite was great for our family of 4. Patrick is a great host. Breakfast was fantastic, and the view, to die for! The hotel is charming and has a perfect location. The blackout shades mean you get to sleep in :-)

Room Tip: Family suite has a queen bed, and a separate bedroom with bunk beds.

Fantastic B&B. Patrick has a wonderful place which he has stamped his very high standards and taste on. I have never stayed in a boutique B&B before!

Fine rooms and ensuite. Tasty breakfast. All backed up by an excellent owner who is not your average B&B proprietor.

Check out the website. It really is as good as it looks.
