We did have some trouble as we didn't get the right code for the door or our room number.. Make sure you have the phone number as there is nobody on site, it is self-service. You have to walk about 1/4 mile with your luggage from the car park.
Once we got the right code for the front door (door may stick) it was great. It is a very old building inside the walls very rustic, simple but functional. There was tea, coffee, and sugar in the room with yummy fresh bread delivered each morning at 8:30. There is a microwave, 2 burner gas stove top, fridge, dishes and utensils. Minimal counter space. Mainly clean but not spotless. Small 19" TV French only, fine as we are in France. Bathroom a good size, nice shower with plenty of hot water. Good bed with extra blankets.
Parking is free in the moat just past the cemetery but a long walk with bags. Show your reservation to the lot attendant on arrival. Your room key will get you in after you get to your room, and just pull up close to the gate to get out.
A great little gem.More
