“Too expensive...”
Reviewed 7 January 2013

Like travelling back to the Midle Ages, but some parts of this museum isn´t for young children. The experience is OK, even though it´s not bringing value for the money spend for a family of 5!

“fun and horrific at the same time”
Reviewed 25 November 2012

On one hand it is incredibly interesting seeing and learning about the torture devices that have been used through the centuries, on the other hand after a while you can feel the horror of it seeping through you after a while. its hard not to feel anguish in the museum.
well worth a visit. not all history is nice but it is equally important to remember the good and the bad.
had a few good laughs with the mannequins though. lots of interesting photos.

“overpriced and not for kids”
Reviewed 16 November 2012

45 euro for six of us, no mention anywhere at the first exhibit that many of the exhibitions are quite graphic - for me it was OK but my four children under 12 found the whole experience disturbing. could have at least suggested that it isnt suitable fro young children.

“Seriously overcharging for this”
Reviewed 30 October 2012

We really felt it was a rip off. €9.50 per person. It's split into two sections, one part showing torture instruments, which was okay (but we've seen a lot better for a lot less in the UK), the second just a load of dodgy mannequins with mumbling soundtracks playing - which we just had to laugh about at that stage. Really poor - do not waste your money.

“A TRULY UNIQUE VIEW ON OUR HISTORY”
Reviewed 29 October 2012

To visit this museum and actually see first hand "the machines" of torture not only dreamt up but "used" by Spanish Inquisition is actually truly sickening to think what man could do (and did do) to man in the name of God. "The Church" has much to be ashamed of!!
