Now my favourite restaurant in Carcassonne...hard to find but worth it when you get there. Actually a very large restaurant that manages to keep an intimate feel by having lots of different rooms with eclectic decor from Moroccan chic to distressed off white painted French.
Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Little choice but I prefer that to the standard fare in Carcassonne where you know it is mainly supermarket bought and often from tins - I refer to the fois gras pate, confit duck, salad of geziers and Cassoullete.
My tiniest complaint is that the deserts were far too sweet and sickly - but this is usual in French cuisine so i have learnt to expect it.
