We stayed here in June, and found it pretty comfortable and really well-located. So many restaurants nearby, and just a short walk to a big underground car park. I could not have hit the ceiling with a basketball, it was about a mile high. The bed was comfortable and huge. The room was very quiet and dark enough to stay cool on a hot day. There just wasn't enough space to put our stuff, with only a very tiny but clever "closet" by the windows and an even tinier "desk." The bathroom was small but adequate. Did not have breakfast there since it was expensive. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend it highly for just 2-3 nights.

We enjoyed our stay at Baudon de Mauny. The room had high ceilings, wonderful large bed and very well appointed bathroom. The hotel is in the pedestrian only area and can be difficult to find. The staff was very helpful in carrying our bags up the stairs. Well worth the stay. We wished we could have stayed longer

We recently spent four nights at this lovely inn. First and foremost, the staff, Thebault and Lezza, were excellent and very helpful. Thebault always had a smile and friendly word and made our experience most enjoyable.

The location, in the historic area of the city, is perfect for seeing sites and being able to walk everywhere. Great proximity to restaurant, little squares with tables for caffe or wine in the afternoon, numerous shops and patisseries. We did not eat breakfast in the inn because there are so many places to get croissants and caffe as well as other wonderful treats.

While our room was adequate, the furnishings were not up to the rest of the facility. We had an uncomfortable couch and a Futon for a chair in the living room - not sure where that style comes from. The bedroom had a chair that was a rocking chair with a low back and not comfortable for taller people, like me, to sit in.

However, all in all, I'd recommend this inn for the staff and location.

Baudon de Mauny is one of the most delightful hotels I've stayed in over the last few years. The signs are modest, and you could walk by the hotel without knowing it is there. Once you are inside, you feel as if you have traveled back in time. You walk through an ancient courtyard where horses probably stayed while their owners went inside. The hotel, which has been in the owner's family for several generations, has been recently redone with exquisite taste and style. The mix of ancient and modern decor works beautifully. Our bedroom and bath were luxurious and lovely. We spent time in the lovely sitting room, and also had breakfast both mornings in the chic breakfast room, where we were served a simple but lovely meal. The manager, Thibeault, could not have been more helpful. He welcomed us to the hotel, served us breakfast, and had a lovely manner. I can't recommend Baudon de Mauny highly enough.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Baudon, and absolutely loved the hotel. It is in a stunning building built in the late1700s, with huge sweeping stone staircase, flagged floors and massive windows with shutters looking out onto the tiny streets. The conversion has been done incredibly sensitively with old features preserved, space used generously, and stylish modern additions. The staff were helpful ( and spoke great English - thank goodness), organising transfers to & from the airport, providing maps and recommendations.

The hotel is right in the middle of town, minutes from the all the sights and lots of little squares nearby, with bustling cafés and fabulous restaurants.

The salon is a lovely space to relax after a long day exploring, and our room also was also close to a well equipped kitchen, with a fridge to keep some wine cool! Our room was decorated well, the bed comfortable, lovely pillows, huge shower in the stylish bathroom, plenty of space, and great original features.

This hotel does not have a restaurant or full reception service, but does serve breakfast - which while delicious and perfectly adequate, is very overpriced at €15 per person. I felt this rather let them down, but was really the only niggle in an otherwise perfect weekend.

This is a stylish & romantic base in a exciting, quirky city.

Have you ever wanted to know what it would be like to live behind those huge doors that open onto the narrow streets in French towns? In the case of Hotel Baudon de Mauny, you get that experience. It is a boutique hotel in which they have cleverly combined minimalist modern décor with the beauty and ancient character of the building. The rooms are large, open and airy, with modern essentials like air conditioning and WiFi. The service is personal and charming, and when you stay in this hotel you feel like you are one of the town residents. There are lots of bistros and cafes nearby, fascinating little shops, plenty of local colour, and many of the main tourist attractions are within easy walking distance.

Very spacious and clean rooms, excellent service, proximity to the Corum Conference Center.
Very classy and friendly service.

I would have liked if there was a trash bin in the room - with only a small bin in the bathroom it was a bit odd to visit the bathroom to dispose of items.

Room Tip: Ask for an inner yard room - it will be quieter and shielded from alley noise.
