Ma Chambre is a sweet B&B in a convenient location to the old city. Caroline was very attentive and I enjoyed my beautiful, large room overlooking the garden. The bed was enormous and comfortable with excellent linens. I think I had the only room that is not ensuite and so I had to go into the hall to get to my private bathroom and downstairs for the toilet. I did know this in advance and thus had the lowest rate. The bathroom was excellent, new and very large. I can also mention that Caroline provides a nice terrycloth bathrobe for these ventures. Breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room. My only caveat is that if you are a single traveler as I am, it can feel a bit uncomfortable to be in someone's house and you really are in the house although there is one separate room with a kitchen that is perhaps a bit more private. I also wasn't that fond of having four keys to get in as I am not always very good with locks. I did not know that I could only pay with cash until the morning of my departure. I think that is important to know upfront. That being said, it was a very pleasant two nights and I particularly liked listening to the church music wafting through the garden around 5 pm and the bells in the morning. Quite mystical combined with the Medieval feeling of Montpellier.
