Close to the Place Albert tram stop & just a five minute term ride from the City Centre this as a very pleasant place to stay, with an attractive building, nice frontage with parking and smart decor. A swift, efficient & friendly greeting & a comfortable superior room with a lttle balcony with just enough space to sit at a cafe table. The room was clean, comfortable & well presented with a spacious, clean en suite with good shower & esential toiletries.
Breakfast was good with a selection of hot & cold food - pastries, cereals, eggs & bacon etc including some gluten free options. Delicious hot chocolate! A quick & easy checkout with a sensible cost & they kept my suitcase secure for me until later in the day. We will return as its so handy for visiting our daughter who is spending a year at the university here.

Room Tip: Number 14 - at the end of the hotel, with a balcony with plenty of screening from the car park with plants & trees, nice & quiet.

The Hotel du Parc lacks very little that a small and intimate hotel needs – except possibly the park mentioned in its name. An 18th century Languedocian manor, it has been converted into a Hotel de Charme, or boutique hotel, in a tasteful and unpretentious way, and for those who prefer this type of hotel to the glitzy city-centre variety I can think of few better examples.

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential district, and while it is easily walkable to the historic centre it is equally easy to take one of the excellent trams that circumnavigate the city.

First impressions in a hotel are vital; what comes later may or may not match up to them, but they definitely colour one’s experience. In the case of the Hotel du Parc the welcome could not have been bettered: on arrival, not the frequently encountered “here’s your room key, sorry there’s no lift”, but a total insistence on carrying your two heavy suitcases upstairs. A request for information was met not with the normal offer of a map with a barely disguised sigh, but an annotated map and a genuinely enthusiastic lecture on everything we might have wanted to see, hear, ride on, eat or drink.

Rooms at the Parc on the whole are not huge, but not tiny either, and everything in them seems to work sensibly. The small shaded terrace is used for breakfast, which, unsurprisingly, is continental in style. There is a car park for those who get there in time: not big enough for the whole hotel, but free if you do use it – a considerable plus by French standards. The hotel wifi is also free, though it doesn’t seem to stretch to every room. There’s no restaurant or bar but you can order a simple drink on the terrace.

On the basis of two nights there, a delightful experience with nothing to complain about.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms may be wheelchair accessible, but can be a bit public. No lifts to upper floors.

Only a two star hotel, but that is because it doesn't have a restaurant. (Better than most 3 stars) Great location near the old, scenic part of town; close to Montpellier's excellent tram system; also near the university, and Montpellier's acclaimed hospital system. A wonderful boutique hotel located in a restored 18th century mansion. Breakfast is available, and the excellent, multi lingual staff are very helpful and welcoming.

We got the bottom room which was officially for a wheelchair person. The bathroom was big and transformed appropriate. Even the door was big enough. But the bed was a double bed and to big for that small room so if there is ever a real wheelchair person coming, he won't get into the room nighter around or in the bathroom. And due to the bathroom sliding door there was a 10 cm gap where you have to be really in a long good relationship to withstand the noises and the smell. dispirited this issues its a nice place and very central.

Hello,

Thank you for taking time to write a review. We'd like to thank you fro staying at the hotel du parc. The room you had, indeed, has different facilities such as the sliding door. We understand it may not fit for everyone. But, usually, people like this room for the spacious bathroom and the balcony.
Feel free to ask for another room for your next stay in Montpellier.

Best regards,

Margaux

Second time that I stay in this magnificent mannor with my couple.
Really the stuff is very pro and kind. They really boost our experience in Montpellier two times.
Close to the historical center, the personalisation of the rooms, the service and the breakfast I think are the key points that motivate me to stay here.
