“Absolutely Scrumptious!”
Reviewed 15 November 2013

We had the delightful opportunity to be seated at the bar and observe the adroit Chef create delectable sensations. Turbot sautéed in a mushroom sauce that melted into an exquisite gastronomic debauchery. The local regional wines are exceptional as was our Chardonnay. The desert wine paired with an incredibly moist chocolate soufflé punctuated our finest meal at a moderate price. The Chef and server are amicable and charming. Good idea to make a reservation due to intimate limited seating.

“One of our top 5 in Montpellier”
Reviewed 28 October 2013

A small room plus a small outdoor space. Happy people, many of them locals. An open kitchen so you can watch the chef. A skilled, organized, and methodical chef who knows exactly what he is doing. A menu that changes daily ( very unusual). Warm friendly service. Reasonable prices. Fabulous flavours . All in all a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. Make a reservation.

“Absolutely fantastic”
Reviewed 28 September 2013 via mobile

We just had the best meal of our trip. We have already made reservations for another dinner before we leave. We both had the duck, which was delicious, accompanied by potatoes dauphinoise and vegetables with a variety of mushrooms. The servings were generous and the wine, recommended by the chef/owner was fabulous. We started with a salad and the bread which were also far better than anything we have had to date. The restaurant is tiny, with only 6 tables and you can watch the chef as he cooks. You definitely need a reservation although it was disappointing to see that several reserved tables remained empty.

“Beautiful food in a great setting.”
Reviewed 27 September 2013

Excellent seasonal fresh food, served with great care and attention to detail. As we were here in early autumn, there were fresh mushrooms galore, lovely smoked fish, duck and veal. We can't wait to see what the ever-revolving menu brings in winter, spring and summer!

We loved the open kitchen; It felt like you were eating at someone's house (I wish my friends were this good at cooking!) Definitely worth seeking out, book ahead as it's a small dining room (with a great atmosphere).

It's also about 10 minutes walk from where we live, which is fantastic.

Hello,

Thank you for your comment.
I love the fall season is a season where there was still plenty of garden vegetables and where you begin to get the mushrooms such as ceps and chanterelles.

See you soon I hope

Guillaume

“Watch the Chef prepare your meal”
Reviewed 25 September 2013

Wonderful food in truly French style. Watch as the chef prepares your meal from handpicked fresh ingredients. Close to the old Roman Aqueduct in the center of the old city. Great food and price. Selection of wine is also handpicked to compliment the food for that day. Breads and desserts are fresh baked.

Hello

Thanks for your opinion.

As you have noticed every day I make the market to have fresh products to serve. The bread is made by the baker street. I have the chance to have a street where there are still small businesses.

Hoping to see you soon
Regards
Guillaume
