I was guest of this hotel for a conference. The position was perfect and the room very silent and quiet.
The breakfast excellent with a wide selection of thee and very good bread and home made jam.
Overall very good stay for 1 week with nice suggestions for restaurants by the hotel personnel.

We have twice stayed at Hotel d'Aragon and would stay there again if in Montpellier. Close to the historic centre. Very comfortable. Charming period hotel with lovely service. Great bed and bathroom. If you need a hairdresser, ask Thierry for the address of Celine. She will sing some opera for you as well as giving a good haircut.

Room Tip: The Moliere room was lovely.

Good place. The staff is gentil. The breakfeast could be improved. But the room price doesn't include breakfeast. The breakfeast price goes to the tourism office of the Montpellier City. The car place in Place Comedie is very expensive.

The Hotel d'Aragon is a little but nice Hotel in the center of Montpellier, only 200 meters from the Place de la comédie. The street in front of the hotel is not very frequented and the windows are well sound -proof.Our Deluxe room was spacious and the bathroom was incontestable.

Dear Guenters349,

We thank you for taking the time to write this nice review.

It is true that Hotel d’Aragon in Montpellier is very well located, Comédie place with its restaurants and shops, St Roch train station, Corum Opéra Berlioz/Palais des Congrès, Fabre museum, etc…. Despite that short distance to the city center our establishment is quiet and soundproof allowing our guests to make the most of a restful sleep. We try to do our best by offering the best service and products so that you can discover and enjoy Montpellier in the best way.

We hope that we will soon have the pleasure to welcome you again at our hotel,

Kind regards,

Philippe Etourneau,
General Manager

Small, personal, well positioned. Extremely helpful person at reception. Excellent breakfast. Very quiet: deserves to be better patronized. Very glad I took up the recommendations on the Rick Steves forum.

Dear Cgichard,

Thank you very much for your commentary.
We love having so nice feedbacks of our services and hotel.

As you said our small boutique-hotel, housed in a 19th century building, has 12 rooms updated with modern features without losing their senses of character. It’s true that the hotel is just 100 meters from the main square Place de la Comédie, and the old town is just 3 minutes walking, and yet we are lucky to be in a quiet neighborhood but in the city center of Montpellier.

We hope that we will soon have the pleasure to welcome you again at our hotel,

Kind regards
