Found the gardens rather unexciting. No maps at the gates, Very difficult to find any toilets at all. No refreshments ( temp was 33 degrees ).

Beautiful park. Both green and gravel. The gardens are stunning. Water ways leading to the park lovely. The pools in the park full of beautiful koi carp. A very steep walk up to the temple at the top but worth it for the view. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the sun. Definitely a must.

Loved the canals, the shady paths, the giant stick insect on the hill, and most of all the little piece of garden paradise we went through to reach the Tour Magne. Doesn't feel like it's in a city at all! The bit up the steps is a little steep, so disabled or unfit be wary, but there are places to rest, most of which are perfect picnic spots. Flowers, ponds, nice views, and I think I spotted a grotto, but didn't get to go and see. Lots of history to the place for those interested, and swans and fish to feed for the children.

Crossed through this lovely garden to see the Tour Magne and Temple de Diane in Nimes. Many paths, shady benches to relax and people watch or picnic and home to the two sites mentioned. The fountain pool has large carp.
