Following an unsuccessful trip to a restaurant in Nice last year on the recommendation of Trip Advisor, we went here with some trepidation and we can honestly say that this time Trip Advisor came up trumps.
We arrived early without a reservation and the restaurant was empty but it soon filled up with families and couples. The service was excellent even though there was only one person serving and taking orders. We opted for the menu degustation which was excellent value at 30 euros for 3 courses plus amuse bouche. Wine was also very reasonably priced for local varieties and was superb.
The food was fantastic, cooked beautifully and presented well. The portions were just how we like them - quality over quantity - but filled us well.
This is a place worth seeking out as it's off the beaten track. If time permits we will return before we leave Perpignan.

It was by complete serendipity that I found this restaurant, I was early but the staff were very accommodating despite my poor French, I had the duck breast followed by café gourmand with a half bottle (50cl) of chateau d'or which is an organic wine. The ambience, the food and the service were all of a uniformly high standard. Not the best meal I have had in France but as Cuisine regional goes it was pretty damn good. Happy to recommend.

We've visited this restaurant following the good reviews in Tripadvisor. We arrived at 20:30 on a Friday night and the place was practically empty; which I thought wasn't a good sign. What started as an awkward evening quickly turned into a pleasant one thanks to our waiter and the great food we were served. In about 30mins-45mins, 3 more tables arrived, then a large group came in and the place burst into life.
The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive - although he could speak very little English; still tried his best , which is remarkable in France.
Full 3 course meal with a bottle of wine did come to about 60 Euros for the two of us, which I thought was reasonable for the quality of food. I would recommend and would also go back there to eat if I'm in the city.
It's good for friends, family or even a business meal. Slightly formal atmosphere, but not over the top.

This unassuming restaurant was empty when I walked in but I was warmly greeted by the waiter. The food was stylish and well priced but the focus gras was a little flavourless and the duck too chewy, which made me fixed to leave 4 pieces which were inedible . All in all not too bad given the price and excellent presentation but unfortunately no better and wouldn't rush back.
