Not luxury but perfectly adequate for a few nights stay. Rooms a little on the small side but big enough to accommodate our stuff we had taken for our two nights. Perhaps would not have been enough storage and wardrobe space for a week or more.
Ideally placed being just outside the town centre so little or no noise, yet close enough for a leisurely stroll into town at nigh to visit the many bars and restaurants. We stayed bed and breakfast which filled us nicely to last until lunchtime. The breakfast is seven euros each and good value for a continental.
Parking is a nightmare around the area so if you hire a car, take advantage of the hotels public car park concession. This will cost you ten euros a day but well worth it to avoid the stress.
A hotel I would definitely recommend provided you are not looking for luxury. Staff by the way are excellent.

Nice hotel, family room with bunk bed for our sons, but yet large enough for a very comfortable sleep for their age (15 and 16).
Small but good bed for parents. Very good breakfast and very friendly and helpful owners.
Close to historical town center, free parking in the streets around the hotel. Not easy to find a not paying place when we arrived, but after 5pm one can find lots of free (and safe!) places with no time limit so we didn 't have to move our car for the three days we stayed there!
Easy accessible by car and only 10 minutes walk to the historical town center.

We happened to find the Aragon Hotel by chance when we were looking for accommodation in Perpignan. Our room was very simple, with no luxuries but it served its purpose, since we were there only at night. The hotel looked very quiet to us, barely noticing the other guests (if there were any), so no worries with noises or chattering at night.
It is located very close to the heart of the city, you can get to the main shopping quarter in a 10-minute walk.
Would definitely come back.

Hello! My personal opinion of the Hotel Aragon is that it is a perfectly nice hotel with very friendly and helpful staff and a nice, clean breakfast room. But... the bedrooms really need updating, and fast. The sheets were clean but the whole room was very dingy and outdated, the beds are very small for two people to sleep in.

The location is an easy walk to the town centre. However, as a single female traveller, you may feel a little vulnerable walking into town alone at night. It is probably quite safe, but you may not feel so.

All in all - for one night it is fine. A typical French city hotel. I do recommend the Grand Cafe la Paix for dinner - which was in the area of Perpignan recommended by the hotel.

Rooms are simple but clean and at very reasonable prices. Hotel is in an ok neighbourhood about 1km walk from railway station. Handy that there is a supermarket just around the corne. Free wifi that actually works! Very helpful staff. Overall very good - i'd stay again.

This is a pleasant place to stay, located a few kilometres from the train station and city centre. However, the free 'petit bus' stops very close by.

We found the owners of the hotel very helpful and accommodating and the lady speaks good English. Free WiFi is available. There is a pleasant breakfast area, very clean and reasonably furnished.

The disappointments were that the hotel is a guest house with limited facilities. It has numerous bedrooms but no bar or lounge, no room tea making facilities, plain rooms with minimal storage space, and the walls are paper thin. The bathroom is small and the toilet is for small sized people. A minor irritation common of many hotels is the shelf above the wash basin restricts access. We stayed in a ‘superior’ room so cant comment on the ordinary rooms. There is a facility for the supply of drinks and snacks at limited times; plus an automat for drinks / biscuits / etc.

We had the breakfast which was nicely presented but lacked variety, particularly a cold meat selection, and was certainly not value for money. We saw only a few guests at breakfast during the whole stay.

In the locality, there is a Casino supermarket and Spar within 100m. Also, within a few 100m are various very good to excellent restaurants where we ate such as the Moroccan 'Mille et une nuits', a Thai 'Orchidee', a Vietnamese 'New Saigon’, plus innumerable fast food outlets.

The road outside is a side road but it is exceptionally busy from the early hours, being used as a rat run. This may upset the sleep of some people.

I would have no good reason not to recommend this hotel although it would not be up to many people’s standards. For a few euros a night more, the city centre Ibis must offer better value. Its main failing is not to make clear its limitations and status as a guest house in the first place so that visitors are not disappointed with their expectation of a hotel.

Overall, the hotel was pretty basic and not the best value for money although we did enjoy our stay once adapting to its limitations.

The room was clean and kept clean and everything worked, including the small TV. Breakfast is €7, which got me a bowl of cereal, a croissant, some toast, a couple of glasses of fresh fruit juice and a pot of coffee. The service was always friendly and the hotel is only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Perpignan. If you're driving into/out of the town it is one street away from the main town access road so all in all a very good value hotel.
