“Lovely environment”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

This is a destination restaurant but not pretentious and we found it reasonably priced. It's attractive with attentive staff. The food a notch above what we had in previous meals. I had fish and partner a meat dish both tasty but not what I'd call very sophisticated cooking. But that was what we found in Uzes-no obvious regional fare and a lack of imagination. The local red wine was divine.

“Beautiful food, great and friendly service and very pretty”
Reviewed 4 August 2014

We had a fabulous dinner in our first night in Uzes two days ago. The menu is a little different to many of the restaurants in Uzes; I had pork neck and my husband bull and both were delicious. Particularly liked the vegetables which were courgettes and peppers in a tomato cream sauce baked in the oven, yummy. Being a Saturday the place was packed (mainly with residents which is always a good sign). Will certainly be going back there on our visit. I can't really comment on the price as it was our first meal, but it was reasonably priced.

“Good Food, Good Ambience”
Reviewed 26 July 2014 via mobile

Four of us on holidays staying in Uzes for two weeks decided to try this restaurant. Quaint restaurant, good menu. Owner operator looked busy & did not really take time while taking our order & explain the menu and all seemed rushed. Service OK, food reasonable. Overall we all enjoyed the meal but the service could have been a bit more friendlier to make it a great experience.

“Excellent meal in attractive setting”
Reviewed 23 July 2014

We (a family of 4 aged 21 upwards) dined here during our holiday in Uzes. There are many restaurants in Uzes and we settled on this one as the menu looked interesting. We were delighted with our choice. We all chose from the set price menu and all the food was cooked well, attractively presented and most importantly it tasted great. The quantity was just right for 3 courses. The restaurant was pretty full, we were pleased to be seated in the attractive, atmospheric courtyard. The menu was in French, we were able to translate roughly although the waitress, who spoke good English, offered to translate. This restaurant is in a quiet side street and is unassuming from the outside but it is well worth venturing out from the main square and streets.

“A delight”

Our last night in Uzes so we decided to celebrate. We sat outside in a lovely atmospheric courtyard. The food was delicious and the servers attentive. Wine was good too!
