How often can you sleep in a grand house within a medieval city, with all the comforts of modern life? Good shower, comfortable beds, wifi that actually works in the room. Incredible high ceilings, great decor and attention to detail. Little cakes, pancakes, juice...all served for breakfast in a beautiful room by the hosts. Loved it.

What a gem this place is. Beautiful rooms with everything you would expect in a 5 star hotel BUT the difference is the amazing personal service each guest receives. As the place is slightly difficult to find, because it is in a medieval town the hosts are there waiting for your arrival. The bedroom we had was perfectly appointed with everything you would require in a room and more! Breakfast was delicious and the beautifully prepared fruit was perfect. The owners also have a fantastic knowledge of the local and wider area of Provence, their knowledge proved invaluable and we really appreciated the time they spent with us guiding us in the right direction. Would highly recommend this place.

We loved our stay at L'Albiousse. When we arrived we were not sure where to park the car. Right away Alexis walked with me to the Cathedral parking lot, (which is a quick 2 minute walk to Rue Saint Julien) showing me the best place to park. Extremely convenient. The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. The details and decor were outstanding! The rooms very spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We would definitely recommend staying here while in Uzes. Alexis and Gwilym were amazing hosts

We passed here our best weekend away in years--a beautiful room, every detail of design so perfectly thought out to balance the ancient and the modern, and our hosts were totally delightful. My husband has difficulty to walk too far, but we had easy access to the splendid Chateau d'Uzes, the cathedral, the medieval garden, the town's museum (a neglected treasure) and the main square (Place des Herbes) with some wonderful restaurants and shopping possibilities. Our hosts knew all the places and had very good advice to offer. Their own delicious breakfasts were an accurate indication of their appreciation for refinement. No false pretenses here--just appreciation for good taste and a peaceful ambience. The parents of one of the owners were visiting while we were there and we passed some happy moments talking with them about the beauty of the hotel and Uzes.

Room Tip: A lovely interior garden and quiet rooms throughout. No elevator, but the owners made everything ea...

All of the accolades you find here on tripadvisor are well deserved. L'Albiousse is a special place located right in the thick of a charming market town. The house is beautiful and full of character, striking a perfect balance between old and new. There are many luxurious touches throughout, but you will feel completely relaxed and comfortable. We were so truly cared for by our hosts. Gwilym recommended the most wonderful restaurants for dinner, Le Bec à vin and L'Artemise. L'Artemise, in particular, was one of the most memorable dining experiences we've ever had. L'Albiousse is PURE MAGIC and I cannot imagine a better place to stay in the area.

Room Tip: I highly recommend splurging on one of the rooms with a terrace!

Not a big fan of B&Bs never quite sure what to expect, but this destination had limited if inexistent hotel choice. We were most pleasantly surprised, charming and discreet hosts, most comfortable rooms and great location. Definitely 5 stars, we were able to order tapas and wine on our terrace, beautifully presented fresh home made, and much more than just nibbles. The only thing missing is not to be able to have breakfast in Bed, but breakfast was definitely worth getting up for. Ideal location right in the center, for a short break don't really need a car.
