“Absolutely perfect”
Reviewed 29 October 2016 for a stay in September 2016

The only problem with this superb holiday rental is pronouncing its name! We stayed for a week and wished we could have stayed for longer.
From the moment the owner, Ursula, met us at nearby St Quentin ( we had got lost despite her map) we were given the kind of outstanding service and attention to detail which is the difference between a good and excellent stay.
We were welcomed with a chilled bottle of rose wine and everything about the house was explained clearly.
The apartment was much bigger than I'd imagined, with two huge double rooms and two bathrooms (with one en suite). The living /dining area is comfortable but it was the delightful outdoor setting complete with banana loungers that was our favourite place to lounge after a hard day on the tourist trail. The kitchen is supplied with a good range of utensils and a dishwasher and there is a fridge and freezer. Ursula will also do your washing for you.
The house is located about 10-15 minutes walk from the village of St Quentin la Potiere where there is a Carrefour, many ceramic shops, restaurants, boulangeries, tourist office and a wonderful market on Friday morning. Uzes with all its attractions is a few minutes drive away.
There are free bikes for the energetic and Ursula's neighbour allows use of their very large pool. Excellent wifi, hot water and, though we didn't need it, aircon for those hot summer days and nights.
We were so sad to leave and would wholehearted recommend this vacation rental.

“Stylish , extremely well appointed and well managed property in convenient location.”

This is a beautifully presented self-contained unit. The proprietor Ursula has thought of everything one might need. Her attention to detail , exquisite decor and thought for the comfort of her guests was impressive. Although she lives next door, she was accessible if needed, but never intrusive. She was a most generous kind and thoughtful host. When we had a car problem, she and her husband went out of their way to assist. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and extended to 11 days.

“A Gem with everything included for a peaceful vacation”
Reviewed 24 July 2016 for a stay in July 2016

We were thrilled with our stay! Far nicer than the photos. Beautiful 2 x large bedrooms with 2x bathrooms -1x ensuite. Beautiful small garden to enjoy aperos and breakfasts and dinners. . Everything is provided to ensure a good holiday. The owner is lovely. Although she lives next door. Only saw her once during our stay. We were 2x friends travelling together. I will definately return with other friends. We travelled to the surrounding towns and villages - it was a stunning holiday. Only the address was not easy to find . I would suggest that you ask for actual directions prior to setting off. Thanks so much Ursula for a wonderful stay in your beautiful house !

“5* Hotel comfort in a characterful gîte”
Reviewed 17 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

My husband and I, plus 2 labradoodles, consider ourselves very lucky to have found this warm and beautiful accommodation, near but not too near, the active town of Uzès. The friendly, non-intrusive owner, Ursula, has thought of and provided absolutely every facility and attention to detail we could have hoped for in a holiday rental for 2 weeks. Indeed, 2 of everything including bicycles with gloves and 2 beach towels to dry rainy-day dogs. The delightful 2 double bedroom, 2 bathroom gîte and tree shaded garden and secure parking was a sanctuary for us all at the end of long and arduous days of travel. We shall be back!

Liked best: Arriving back to this cosy gîte at the end of each long day.
Liked least: Gaining weight from the excess consumption of pastry from the wonderful nearby boulangerie.
