Le temple neuf, the Protestant Church, Church of the Germans, as the French call it, was built at the beginning of the previous century by the Germans, who controlled Metz and the whole district of Lorraine. The Church, located on a sort of a peninsula in the river Moselle, is surrounded by a nice garden overlooking the river and the lower part of the city. The church's location in the heart of the river 'requires' a prolonged view and taking pictures from nearest bridge. Don't miss the spectacular sight, even it's the back side of the church.
