This hotel is very well appointed for visits to Verdun battlefields (Road to Forts Vaux & Douaumont within 3 minutes) and town centre in 10 minutes (driving). Rooms are small but clean. Breakfast is 8 Euros. Plenty of room for car parking. We ate in the restaurant twice (menu for 3 courses 25 Euros) which was excellent quality.
Unfortunately wet and chilly in September when we were there but there is area to sit outside plus a pool.

Just got back from a family vacation and stayed at this hotel for 1 night. We chose this hotel because we were visiting the Verdun battlefields and this was the best hotel we could find in the immediate area. The hotel is marketed as a 3 star and is even listed as such on TripAdvisor. I have to say this is the first time I've felt let down by the tripAdvisor reviews. The hotel was not at all what we expected.

The hotel is VERY basic and imho cannot be considered a 3 star. We were 2 adults and 2 teens so we requested adjoining rooms, which we were given. We arrived early and the rooms were not ready yet, but they were kind enough to let us leave our luggage in one of the rooms. That was very kind of them and I have to say that the one thing that was very good about this hotel was their service. They were always professional and courteous. When we returned later in the day the rooms had been cleaned but the door to the rooms were left open (I assume to air them out) with our luggage right were anybody could access.

The rooms were clean and the beds was comfortable. The washroom is entirely made of plastic, and had a kind of edge between it and the rest of the room (I assume to prevent water from leaking out into the room. The washroom was very tiny, so much so that I did not even attempt to take a shower in it. Refer to the pictures I uploaded to better understand.

There is no air conditioning so we left the windows open. However, the hotel is between a small quite street (which is where their entrance is) and towards the south there is a busier street. It was loud enough that you'd hear the cars/trucks as they rolled by. There is also some kind of industrial warehouse next door and with the window open you could hear their trucks during the night. We did not hear any noise from other rooms and the rest of the hotel was quite when we were there.

The location is perfect for the Verdun BattleFields, and within a short drive of downtown. Parking was free, and WIFI was fast enough for regular browsing and using Skype. There is a pool but we did not use it.

breakfast was good, the area was clean, it had typical french breakfast choices (croissant, bread, yogurt, etc..).

Room Tip: get a room which opens up on the northern side of the hotel to avoid noise from the busier road on t...

We spent three nights with 4 people in this hotel. A good hotel where the basics are right. Nice breakfast (optional) where they serve all sorts of eggs upon request. Don'forget to ask. The hotel has a swimming pool and a good evening restaurant with very friendly service.

I stayed for 3 nights during a 4-day battlefield tour of St. Mihiel, Verdun and the Argonne. The hotel is perfectly located for easy access to all of these sites. There is a car park and trip went very smoothly.
The room that I had was very clean, en-suite and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel was busy but I slept well each night. There were no tea/coffee making fascilities in the room. The TV had no UK channels.
Breakfast was OK. The orange juice and coffee were poor.
The staff were fairly friendly and spoke a little English. They wore casual clothes/jeans.
I would be very happy to stay at the hotel again if/when I return to Verdun. Do not be put off by its location on an industrial zone.

Room Tip: I had room 22 and I had no problems with this room. It was clean and quiet.

Ok bed. Clean room. Ok restaurant. Nice staff. Close to Meuse battlefields. Parking! Breakfast is the standard fair, but got to squeeze your own fresh OJ, which was heavenly! Like all French hotels, a general lack of plug-ins: only one. Next time, I'm bringing multi-plug.

The location of this hotel in the industrial area is not very attractive and the establishment generally looks quite run down from the outside. Our non-smoking room smelt strongly of tobacco but we were readily moved when we complained. The room and bathroom were basic but clean; the bed just acceptable. Breakfast was unvaried but adequate however, the boiled eggs were not replenished when a group of travelling young male workers ate all before we arrived!
We enjoyed the evening meals and found the service in the restaurant generally pleasant and friendly. The front desk staff seemed to change all the time but they were courteous.
I wouldn't stay here again but it suited our purpose to explore the Verdun monuments and museums.

Room Tip: If not booking beforehand I'd ask to see the room before I committed.

We spent one night here when driving across north-western France. It is very convenient to the battlefields and the old centre of Verdun, but you'll need a car to get to either place from the hotel. It is true that the hotel hallway is dark and dismal, but we found the rooms clean and reasonably bright. I had requested the ground floor because of disabilities in my party. Where did they put us? On the ground floor, but at the far end of the hotel -- a long walk for people who have trouble walking. We dined in the hotel restaurant and were very pleased with the meal -- generous portions, well-cooked and interesting -- and at a great price. I would stay here again if needed. I don't recall any of the staff speaking more than a word or two of English.
