Great place for a stop-over. Just 2 minutes walk from the centre and secure underground parking makes this place a number one for any tourer. A nice budget hotel with friendly, helpful staff. If all you want is a base to set out from then this place is perfect.

Only stayed for one night while we explored around Verdun and the reviews seemed ok.
On arrival we were handed the keys and the TV remote which seemed unusual.
Reception pointed the way to the underground garage and that was that. Left to find our own way to the rooms.
By this time I was not expecting much so was not surprised when I found the room.
Small would be about the best I could say with just enough room for the bed and a small table fastened ed to the wall with two small chairs.
Bathroom was not much better and once through the sliding door you could just get in with a very small shower at one end.
No shower curtain so most of the water just went onto the small Bathmat the you had to wring out after the shower.
The second room we had although it had a balcony where you could get a bit more room was not much better.
Both had thin walls and even though the hotel was quiet you still heard everything going on around you.
If you like the hostel approach to hotels then this is right up your street, as for me not planning a second visit.
Town itself is great with loads of good restaurants and bars by the river

Do not waste your money on this hotel, the rooms are very small and not how the pictures describe they are dirty and the paintwork is all chipped , there was only one power point, rooms were like a prison cell we did not stay but had to pay 106 euros before they would open the garage to get our motorcyles out there are much nicer hotels in the area than this

Room Tip: dont pick any most of the pics on booking .com are of the same room but different angles very crafty...

I've stayed at hotels with far more stars but providing not much more service.
The double bed occupied most of the tiny little room, so if we had been two persons that would have been a certain geometrical problem. Staff friendly and helpful, garage access was easy and most useful. Bed was OK - but not much more. Shower was wonderful!.
Breakfast typically French - but what could you expect from a small national hotel in France?
Town center is close by - walking distance.
Going to Verdun? Try this hotel. They - and possibly you - are worth it!

For one thing, it's cheap. And it sure doesn't look like much when you pull up in front of it in your rented car. In fact, a couple of us wondered whether to even go inside. But as it turned out, we're glad we did. The tiny front office is staffed by the nicest people, a garage door is opened so that you can drive into - well, through - the building to the back area where a cobblestone ramp goes down to a dungeon-like parking garage. But first you off-load your luggage because there's no elevator and it's a bit of a torturous route up various staircases to your rooms. Which are tiny and minimally furnished, and have closet-like ensuite bathrooms. The beds are close to the floor and the pillows thin. Your first impression is laughable if your sense of humour holds. However, it's time to look on the bright side. The room is clean, the bed turns out to be comfortable, and the bathroom - with its really odd shower - is adequate. Once you get used to your rather bizarre surroundings, you find you're in a very old building, convenient to one of the prettiest village centres you are likely to find, and the staff is very accommodating.

A major bonus is Le Pom'Samba restaurant next door. The food and service there are a match for some of the finer eating establishments in Paris. And of course the prices are far lower.

It's hard to rate this place: it has one star and isn't likely to gain another one. However, it turned out to be a perfectly acceptable place to stay and one, quite frankly, we were glad to support.

Room Tip: Breakfast - at a cost of 6.50 Euros per person - is not worth the expense, especially given some ver...

Excellent location a five minute walk to the riverside and town centre. We parked on the street directly outside the hotel. We had a room with a balcony which was excellent for a drink before/after sightseeing.
Room small and bare (no drawer space) but comfortable. Bathroom also very small with a sliding door but clean
Breakfast a standard tray of croissant, madelaine orange juice coffee though there were yoghurts and fruit available
A bit annoying that the hotel was closed when we arrived (about 2pm ) with a note on the door to say it would open at 2.30 however we went off sightseeing but it would have been better to,have dropped off our stuff

Room Tip: a balcony is recommended

Don't be put off by the facade location 5min walk to centre rooms are basic clean and a great hot shower. Underground parking which is secure , reception very helpful and friendly also speaks very good English as our French is non ! Good bikers stay just watch the ramp into garage as its quite steep with sharp turn at the bottom take it slow.

Room Tip: Think all are ok but perhaps not on the front as the road is busy
