We ate at this restaurant both nights we were in Castres, it was so good. It is a small place, on a quiet street and has a quite specialized, small menu. You have to have broad tastes to eat here and not be squeamish. The Prix Fixed menus were 16/20 for 2/3 courses without wine and 29/33 with 3 glasses of wine they pick to pair with each of your courses - something I recommend you let them do. They really specialize in food and wine pairing and take great trouble to tell you about the wines. The food was excellent. usual but very good. One starter we tried was boudin noir (black pudding) which nothing like what you’d get on a plate with breakfast in England and a main course was tête de veau which was succulent and well flavored. A wonderful little place.
